Oh hell no, looks like you nailed it. Probably closer to new but you get used to it sagging.

No, when you buy a leaf spring and it isn't right it's obvious. View attachment 11053
I measured it last night at the top of the wheel opening, it is suppose to be at 28-29 inchs and its at 29, so yea i was just used to it sagging, makes me want to get new front springs, but i need a front right bottom door hinge, than a couple of actuators for the front windows. dont know why i`m putting $$ into it they are not worth that much, guess cause its a big safe car and its been dependable. plus cant really afford a new one. wish i still had some of my old cars, 71 442, 66 galaxy xl 500 390, 71 vega panal that came factory with a 400 sb.

Gas is cheap these days and the pack ice is already screwed so I say light 'em up ! might as well have fun as we make ourselves extinct.

What about salvage yards? any u-pick-em left out by you? If so they probably have enormous reptiles or skunk possums or whatever else OK seems to have. that's where I'd head for door hinges. those hinges probably went on any number of vehicles. Believe me, I understand working on your driver and that's a whole different ball of wax - been there many times.

I woke up to the smell of Carmel. Investigation reveled the kids making Taffy apples. Even Samantha was in on the fun. Rolling the apples in the crushed peanut. Monday we put up the Halloween decorations. And the twins have decided in costumes. Kate is Harley Quinn. Debbie is punchline. Brian will be the joker

Heading to Lowe's soon to purchase some 4" x 6" x 8' pressure treated lumber, foundation blocking, and other misc. pressure treated wood for shimming...I have a shed that needs to be releveled and blocked up, all the rain we've had in the past two months may have softened and weakened the ground under it...Its sagging on the back end and must be dealt with...

I haven`t seen or heard any birds today. eerie

Yeah that was three days last week for me, I didn't hear nor see any birds for 3 days, turned out a couple hawks were in the area closeby...The birds came back after the hawks moved on...

I remember having some fun tuning up a Fury door with a sledge after it ran afoul of a drive in movie post . They are not fun. Drive-ins ain't got no posts anymore and u-pick-'em lots probably went away when Reagan was president and I didn't notice. There are really cheap kits on Rockauto for hinge repair that you might take a look at. Maybe an oversize pin.

Growing grass. First, why the hell is grass seed so expensive? Second, it might be less expensive if I were to throw actual money on the ground. Just trying to get some schtick on the hill before winter where I dug the trench. 50% success with the first go around, tossed some more out there yesterday. Very careful, rake it all out nice, no rocks, good seed, starter fertilizer, clean straw, and still zippo in a lot of spots. I'm much better at killing shit out in the yard than growing anything on purpose. The dirt isn't trying hard enough obviously.

Got three rainy days. Germinate you little bastards! Don't make me come out there ! Yeah, I talk to my plants .....

There's a u-pull-it about 40 minutes east of me, haven't been there in ages since I had my Mazda RX-7...I actually need to check them out or look up a new part, my window on the passenger side went screwy yesterday and the only plastic component in the automatic window upper/downer mechanism broke...So now it can stay all the way up or all the way down, there's no in-between until I get a replacement part...

Yep, the garden, sometimes the grass and especially the trees I talk to, although the apple tree has become a bit indifferent lately and doesn't respond in kind...

The grass is getting mowed today so they're all quiet this morning...

That's too funny. Nivek calls them "u-pull it". Pigfarmer calls them, "u-pick-'em"

Here they are called, Pick & Pull. :D

Went to the doctor today. I broke out in a rash. I am older and I do have big breasts. That unfortunately means that whilst I am in menopause getting hot flashes and night sweats, I end up with a rash under my breasts sometimes.

I was trying to treat it myself which involved Apple Cider Vinegar. It was not working the rash was spreading. I tried using over the counter creams. Nope it had now spread to my hands all the way up my arms, my legs, my back, around my left eye, and part of my chin and neck.

The doctor doesn't know what it is either. He gave me pills for killing fungal infections and pills for allergy infections and told me to come back in 5 days to see if this treatment helps.

Sure hope it not flesh eating infection because I'll be dead by then.

Today's a bubblegum day for me, it's raining all afternoon, I'm just messing around doing much of nothing, not thinking of much of nothing either lol...Good for the soul sometimes...

Monday morning I put this stain on two sides of the building, the front side with the door and windows and the backside, still have two more sides to finish up however the weather has changed bringing rain in the area before the end of the week because of tropical storm Beta and I don't have enough clear weather days to allow it to dry properly, so the rest of the staining will be finished up on Sunday this coming weekend...The colour is darker than I wanted but it lightened up a bit when it dried, I'm fine with it...The wood really soaked up the stain though, I went through two gallons and bought two more gallons to finish the job...It took me all afternoon to do those two sides, there was a lot of brushing around the windows and door and the trim and I wasn't trying to rush it lol...

Busy day tomorrow, I'm finishing up this stain-n-seal project, 75 degrees and party sunny skies, no rain forecast for the next 5 days, tomorrow is the perfect day to complete this work, then getting cleaned up and have an appointment with my favourite hair stylist...She opened her shop back up a couple weeks ago I heard, so I called her today and yep she's back in business, so I set an appointment with her tomorrow afternoon...She does a fabulous job cutting my hair, always with scissors only, no clippers except on the borders around the collar and ears and I tip her well for it lol...I haven't got a hair cut from her since early January, I can't wait!...Then I'm heading into the big city to pick up a few things and stop by the Pet Supermarket so I can bring my dog in whilst buying food and whatnot for him...Kobi loves going in that shop with me, smelling all the treats and chewys laying out on the shelves, he likes to go over and see the fish swimming and give a couple barks at the birds before we check out lol...
