Baby Yoda eating a macaron sounds like the start of a bad joke, but the now-viral moment of the Child enjoying the sugary French confection from the latest episode of The Mandalorian has spawned an IRL batch that you can gobble up for yourself.

Williams Sonoma is selling a 12-pack of “Nevarro Nummies” Macarons on its website right now for $49.99. The giftable tray of treats is an officially-licensed partnership with Lucasfilm, the company behind the Star Wars franchise and The Mandalorian.

“Inspired by a sweet moment when a young Nevarro student debated sharing his treats with the Child, 21st-century artisans in California have created these ethereal French-style almond macarons capturing the essence of this scene with Nevarro Nummies,” reads the product description on the Williams Sonoma site. The blue-colored, almond-based macarons feature a “rich and creamy” vanilla flavor and are shipped frozen or chilled.

Williams Sonoma also has a Star Wars-themed pack of macarons available for ordering online. The site says these macarons are handcrafted in “an artisanal California patisserie,” with custom-colored almond macarons filled with vanilla frosting and topped with iconic Star Wars characters and designs.

I don't care what is stamped on the cookie. Unless it is filled with gold I am not paying $50 for a 10 pack of cookies.

How much did that set you back?

10,000 space credits for the smaller one and 17,000 spacebucks for the big bar of Beskar

Seriously though if you want a large Beskar bar in stainless steel they are $100 and for plastic ones $20 on Ebay.

When the Mandalorian first aired here it was just before Xmas and there was absolutely no Merch in the shops for the show. People were hand knitting Baby Yodas and selling them on Ebay to try and help the fans buy something from their favourite Star Wars show. The closest we could get for real Merch was next April 2020. There are things you can but now in shops for the Mandalorian but when it first started the makers of this show missed out on some heavy cash if they had the Merch available especially just before Xmas time when people would have bought like crazy. Some things like the Beskar Bars and the Mandalorians gun are on Ebay for sale but fan made using 3D printers usually made from Resin. There is a Mandalorian helmet coming from EFX but that costs $1800. But T Shirts Baby Yoda figures ect are in the shops right now to buy so thats a plus.

Did you notice the length of the episode?

Yeah this was a longer one than normal, I think they needed a longer one this time given the curcumstances for the information they revealed...Their episodes average about 35 minutes straight through not counting credits so 10 minutes doesn't seem like much but a lot can happen in 10 minutes in a show like this lol...

I just looked, season 2 episode 1 is the longest episode at 51 minutes, only 2 episodes in season 1 were longer than 37 minutes...

I think the Mandalorian is the most entertaining series I've seen in a while besides Picard (which I hope comes back really soon)...The Mandalorian episodes are very rewatchable too...
