I am actually completely unbothered by Twitter limiting who can use their service. This is because I am at a loss to think of a legitimate use for it. Its terse, character-limited format is designed to promote coarseness and incivility. It has existed to date to provide an unceasing shouting-match between political opponents. The best thing would be if Twitter became irrelevant because nobody wanted to use it any more.
Suppose if Twitter and other social media platforms are selectively censoring information this means they are actively curating content.
This makes them 'publishers' and they should be held accountable to the law (and prosecution) just like everybody else.
