In that range I'd look to make sure the generator provides a 4 prong twist lock outlet unless you're going to just run extension cords. If that's all you need something much smaller and quieter like a Honda portable inverter type might not be a bad choice. Haven't seen any multi-fuel but would not doubt they make them for certain markets.

If you want to actually connect it to your house's panel then make sure the generator has a 30 amp 250/125v L14-30 outlet on it. I have seen hundreds and hundreds of generators fly out the door and what I wrote below is something I have been through fifty zillion times, so if you know how to do it skip it. The multi-fuel ones, even the Fords, I have seen pass through as special orders but are not generally available in store. They were all pretty big. Some might have been 50 amp. I know you don't want to power much but when you start to compare the materials using what's most common is usually easiest and at least around here a 30A inlet is common. 4 wire connections lets you connect it safely to the panel. Mine's a 20amp output I wired as a 30 because it's old and when it goes a 30 will replace it - and even finding the right stuff to make it 20amp only would have been a p.i.t.a . Even at 20amps I have heat, hot water, lights, maybe one burner on the stove, refrigerator, all the tv, internet and gadgets.

A really common hookup is a weather resistant inlet flange on the side of the structure you want to provide power to. In dry locations just run 10/3 with ground NM-B cable from the service panel to the flange. Wet locations use 10/3 with ground UF cable. The cable is terminated in the main service panel on a double pole 30 amp breaker. Ideally with a lockout that requires the main breaker to be off before the generator breaker can be on so your new genny doesn't shock the hell of the utility worker out on the pole. Use a female-male generator cord to hook it up. The premade ones are 25' and weathertight. You want to DIY and make the cord with long SO or SJ rubber cord then with the plug there is a suffix letter. P is a male plug, R can be an in wall receptacle or a cylindrical socket cap. Use the socket cap on one end.

When the power goes out I just plug in the generator and fire it up. Then go to the main panel and go click, click. Then everything in the house works. Ask for more from the circuit than it can give and it'll likely pop the faceplate breaker on the generator itself first. Having farted around with cords and plugs and actual work to hook things up for years this is easy peasy.

No don't worry about being carried away, this is awesome information - thank you very much.
I have never had one before and I will take all of this into account. With a log cabin and
cedar garage I was thinking the propane might be safer than gasoline. But really both need
to be safe or else, so I will look into it. It's just easier for me to refill propane here.

Cool ! That's all valid in the US - no idea what your electric standards are though so best to check

I've been asked this a couple times recently...

Got me a set of shiny red wheel dollies .... and that's about as exciting as it got today. Space is at a premium and even being able to nudge it over a few inches is helpful.

I saw a dermatologist earlier today, first time visit to this doctor and he was one of the most pleasant and compassionate doctors I've ever met...An older Italian guy, he's 69 years old he told me, when he came into the room he was full of life and energy, and really made the visit a very pleasant one...He really made an impression on me...

Yes, my GP here is Italian. Very special and caring types.

UPDATE on my book that proves Abraham was a living person. Still working on it, and it seems
that I needed to also show the origin of the Hebrews, and the link that joins the Amorites with the Hurrians, who, led by Abraham, left Harran together to go to the promised land. One of the things that I looked into was concerning Cain and his line - they founded cities in Mesopotamia. And we know that because he named the first one after his son, and that name exists in the area where the Amorites later arose - between Syria and Iran.

So why not look into the Sumerian terms to find that line? Since both the Syrian and Sumerians used Cuneiform to write in that period, and probably based it off of Akkadian or Sumerian. So look what we have:

But I haven't forgotten that I promised you some details about the life of the people during the age of Noah, or the pre-flood generations, and it's certainly interesting, so here we go.

We will be using the Sumerian dictionary, since Cain's lineage was associated with the area of Sumer, in order to obtain additional details about these pre-flood people.

Cain himself:
(there is no letter "c" in Sumerian, so we substitute "k")
ka = gate, door,
in = demarcated sector, zone, sector
in = abuse, scandal
I've included two optional definitions for the "in" part of Kain. Demarcated is a fancy word for "to determine or mark off the boundaries or limits of". We thus have either "left the boundaries of the Eden zone by the gate" or perhaps "he was shown the door because of scandalous abuse". Either one seems to fit the Biblical information from Genesis. And by "gate" they would mean the eastern gate.

Cain's first son was Enoch, or ENAK
(the letters O and C are not found in the Sumerian alphabet)
en "(to be) clever"
ak "to do; to make; to act, perform; to proceed"
So Enoch, or Enak, made clever things and did clever acts. We also learn that he was the first of the Cainites to be righteous. Proving that even the son of one who was said to be the first murderer can change for the better if he wishes.

Next is Irad.
ir = "to plunder, to carry off".
ad = "log; plank of a boat; wooden raft".

Reverting back to the sins of his Grandfather, it seems that Irad was
known to plunder from rafts, perhaps taking from other people who also used
the waters of the Tigris river to flow down into the lands of Sumer.

Mehujael (converting the non-existent "j" letter to a "g")
me = "desire"
hug = "to pacify"
al = "reed fencing"
Mehujael was the first to partition off his property using reed fencing, in
order to avoid feuds with his neighbors over territory, it seems.

Methushael
me = "to be"
tu= "priest"
tu = "leader"
tu = "incantation, spell"
usuh = "en-priest of Enki"
el = "to raise, carry"
I've given three alternative definition choices for part of his name, simply
because they seem to form together into one theme. He seems to represent a type of priest, or a leader of priests, knowledgeable of incantations or spells, who tended to raise the standard of, or carry high the banner of, Enki, the Sumerian god.

Lamech
la = "to weigh, weigh out, pay; to balance"
me = "to wash, refine"
kal = "(to be) rare, valuable"
Lamech, a refiner and weighter of rare and valuable items, which probably
indicates that he was a goldsmith, or a bullion dealer.

Jabal-Jubal (again converting the non-existent "j" letter to a "g")
gabal = "a fight"
gabal du = "to be hostile, to challenge"
bal = "to turn over, cross; to revolt; to break an agreement".
This one definitely seems to have been a trouble maker. Breaking agreements, crossing people, revolting, being hostile and challenging; a fighter for sure.

Tubal-Cain
The Book of Jasher claims that he was a blacksmith. However:
tu = "to heap up; to strike down"
bal = "to recover (goods, property)"
KA = "mouth, gate, door"
IN = "abuse"
To me that indicates an abusive mouth, or insolent person, combined
with the idea of recovering goods or property by striking people down,
so it certainly resembles some type of criminal loan-collector. Perhaps
the enforcement arm for the precious metals sales of Lamech, his
grandfather.

Tubal-Cain was the half-brother of Jabal-Jubal. But more importantly he was the brother of Naamah, the only female listed in the lineage of Cain. And what type of person was Naamah?

Naaman
nam = "determined order; will, testament; fate, destiny"
ah = " phlegm, mucus, scum; saliva, spittle; poison"
I'm not sure if this is telling us that her destiny itself was poisonous,
or that she spit in the face of the determined order. Either way she
seems to represent a quite rebellious character.

Suddenly, I'm beginning to understand the reason why God sent the flood to wipe the sinful people off of the Earth. Cain's line, when we break it down, seems to be filled with the absolute worst examples of humanity. Except for the first son, Enoch, but even then his clever inventions may have resulted in the type of yearning for material goods that brought the rest of the lineage down.

To recap, what do we have in the line of Cain?

Cain himself, the first murderer.
A clever inventor, and maker of goods, who didn't make houses of worship.
A River pirate and plunderer..
One who turned the open grazing lands into fenced enclaves.
An incantations priest dedicated to the pagan god Enki.
A goldsmith and bullion dealer.
A hostile and challenging revolutionary and known deal breaker..
A loan-collector who used force to collect debts.
A lady who spit in the face of the determined order.

Sometimes we just have to look into the records ourselves if we hope to understand the people that lived in the time before the flood. Some might argue that a few of the sons and daughters of Cain do not seem to be extremely evil. There are no reports above of any blood-drinking, vampires, or the rage of uncontrolled, murderous destruction. But in general we can see that they do not fit the definition of those who walked the same path as Adam and his family.

We didn't find these same conclusions in the Old Testament texts. Probably because it's authors decided not to allow all of the disgusting details to come to light. But I believe that it is important to know that there were, indeed, some less than righteous individuals alive during the time between Adam and Noah. Individuals that perhaps deserved a fair trial, followed by a flood.

The twins are headed for a friend's house for a sleepover. The 1st major socal event in months.
No pot
No booze
No boys agreed to. But again they are adults. Time to treat them as such

Sounds like good parenting advice.

I wanted to mention to you and others that I can prove that Abraham lived, that
the Hebrew's did not copy the Sumerian texts for the Bible, and show the true origin of
the ancestors of the tribes that Abraham whipped into Hebrews, with God's help.

What I can not do is to do this by following exactly with the Biblical text, as in
there is no way for me or anyone to prove that God wrote the Bible. Most of the
errors that exist in the Bible, and nearly anyone would agree that there are a few
small ones, is the result of bad translators or bad interpreters of the early Hebrew
alphabet that had no vowels and no spacing. In other words, human error not
God's error certainly.

I see that you have no interest in what I have published here to date on this topic, so I will not post anymore on that topic here, out of respect.

My objective is to stem the flow of Christians and others that are leaving religions by the
thousands, because our scholars keep telling them that the Bible is simply a copy of the
earlier Sumerian works, reworded slightly. This is not true and I can prove it.

Somebody needs to stand up and admit that, while the Bible is not inerrant, it is
based on what God told the authors, and has a great deal of truth built in. Any
errors are the result of those who came later and tried to "improve" on a book that
neither needed nor deserved it.

I have much interest my friend.
If this indeed proves some of the Bible is real.

My sleep cycles are totally out of whack.

We have some out of town friends in the area. They want to stop by here and then proceed to another mutual friend's house for dinner. They already got the covid shots for themselves but would you believe I had to have that talk with them about safety?

I'm beginning to think I should have isolated one more week. My wife's about three days behind me and is is still not doing all that well. We both have residual congestion and runny noses. I know we are past the really tough parts and that this might even just be a cold - but the idea of coming here and all sitting around catching up at the table and then he and his wife traveling over to another house for dinner with two friends who have not had to shot or had covid, noooooo Bad idea.

This is why they have to put warnings like 'do not drink' on paint and 'be careful this coffee is hot' on cups.

We're going to have a socially distanced driveway howdy instead
