From 2014. Gritty, weird. Definitely not a fun movie, but well done. I'd say 7/10 because it needed some editing. You watch this you'd best spend a half hour watching kitten videos afterwards.
I couldn't get into the last spidy movie. I tried 3 different times to watch it but it was just too teeny bopper for me. Is this one really any better?
I saw the entire first season. I like it; it's one of the very few Netflix shows I watch regularly. The only potential problem is that it employs multiple timelines. There are guides online if you want to get into it.
As with many adaptations, I believe the biggest critics are fans of the original books (which I've never read). They're hard to satisfy.
So I've been watching season 2, I'm up to the 5th episode now, fuck! Its building up to something big and episode 5th gave a peek!...I hope they don't disappoint with all this intense suspenseful build-up lol...Season 2 is very entertaining...

Well, you're now way ahead of me. (I rarely if ever binge watch.)
FWIW, the season 2 finale has an 8.8 score with over 5,000 votes on IMDB. That's a good sign at least.

Well I finished season 2 lol...Very well done I think, now I want to rewatch season 1 since found out more information about where the story is going...For the most part season 2 stays in the same timeline which moves the story along in a more pronounced way...I'd give season 2 an 8/10 or a 9...
I don't always binge watch but I had some time today and the episodes have been very entertaining and kept my attention...I also liked the final episode of season 2, it is a good one...I look forward to season 3...
Recently, I watched a bunch of unconnected animated DC flicks. Here are my micro-reviews.
First up, Batman and Harley Quinn
The title tells you who is in the spotlight. They team up to battle Poison Ivy. For two thirds of the movie, I thought the viewer votes were wrong, but then it devolved into nonsense. 5/10
Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts(2015) was produced in order to market a toy line. But that doesn't make it bad. People seem to forget that through much of their history, kids were the primary target for comics. Somewhat reminiscent of a TV plot, attractive animation, and not goofy. Penguin is the big bad. 8/10
Justice League vs. the Fatal Fivehas numerous connections, including the voice actors, to the "Justice league Unlimited" series. Slightly complex plot involving time travel, with "classic DCAU animation." It is distinguished by its serious treatment of mental illness. 8/10
The one I watched most recently is Justice Society: World War IIfrom this year. Some will be pleased, other put off, by it's retro-plot, involving patriotism and battling WW2 Nazis. The Barry Allen version of The Flash and Wonder Woman are the star characters. It stands out in that the The Flash is played totally straight, no goofiness or comedy. Actually, the overall movie is moderately dark. I was fascinated by Stana Katic's (Wonder Woman's) accent. I knew her from the Castle TV show, but she never sounded like that. Aquaman has his vintage look - no beard. According to Wikipedia, "The film shares continuity with Superman: Man of Tomorrow and Batman: The Long Halloween." 8.5-9/10
It starts out on pre-Justice League Earth-1, but takes place mostly on a different Earth.
I was probably one of the biggest Matrix fans out there and I found myself wandering off thinking about what needed to done around the house and stuff like that. It was actually boring, to be honest.
