Much as I've liked Coast to Coast over the years - From Art Bell to George Noory there is one sad but
true fact:

In advertising 'health products' both Bell and Noory often sound like carnival hucksters.

I can still remember Art Bell sounding like a huckster as he pushed various health products
- It became intolerable way back then and I was glad he retired.

Lately, Noory keeps getting worse in his desire to get rich {if he isn't already rich} as he pushes his health
products - Tonight I heard him advertising a 'herbal cleanse' - He made more claims than a carnival barker
selling 'snake oil' - In fact he sounded like a snake oil salesman from the past.

How dose he get away with it?- Theoretically it is against the law to make curative claims for herbal
products and supplements - Doesn't this also apply to snake oil?

Not that I like over regulation by government - I don't - And I use a lot of herbs and supplements.

But when Noory puts ads and supplement hucksters like the one on the air regularly telling us all we need is
a 'pig pack' full of minerals to cure almost all disease - Maybe its time to ask for proof......?

I find his "critical health news" to be nothing more than quackery

The commercials over the years has grown excessive. They have to pay the bills. Jeff Rense and Jimmy Church do the same thing out of necessity, but their commercial breaks are minimal. C2C is the most listened to radio program in its timeslot at 2.75 million listeners. I've calculated that's there's about 51% commercials and 49% show.
Coast to Coast AM - Wikipedia
Created and originally hosted and made famous by the late Art Bell, the program is now hosted by George Noory. According to estimates by Talkers Magazine, Coast to Coast AM has a cumulative weekly audience of around 2.75 million unique listeners listening for at least five minutes, making it the most listened-to program in its time slot.[2] Today, the program is heard on more than 600 stations in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.[3]

I couldn't disagree more. The reality is we have to make a living and sell services and products, without access to black money or if we didn't inherit a trust fund or fortune.

I am glad the show doesn't have insurance commercials every minute like radio telling me how much I can save. This is actually the #1 reason I subscribed to C2C.

I support Noory and anyone's efforts to make an honest living, especially with natural health products.

I skip easily the ads anyway with archived listening, and they are not that many.

You guys think everything is snake oil salesmen, there is basically nothing left to sell that won't get you accused of being a scammer. Smh

Ya know it's not just Coast to Coast, it's everywhere, and it's curious you bring it like this Toroid. I can't believe people and how they think these days. Everything is exploited, and I do mean everything, from animal to disabled vets.

Pushing snake oil sales is one thing, pushing donations for vets is quite another, like our tax dollars shouldn't alone take care of their every need? They are stealing everything not nailed down because why else would any vet in this nation want for any need, or any animal for that matter? It's yank out your heat and give till your butt~hole bleeds because crime inc needs more money. That's what I see, so I guess it's no surprise that a program like Coast to Coast can turn collar and run with the pack. Heck, maybe someone was getting in the way of snake oil sales?

Now don't get me wrong - You have to admire someone like Noory, who night after night can keep talking
intelligently to a diverse group of people and still keep his personal feelings out of it and continues to
stay objective most of the time - And after doing this for so many years has yet to burn out.

Maybe this says something for supplements which he advertises and claims to use himself?

But when claims become too good to be true - I need some evidence.

The one that set me off in writing this post thread was one of the 'herbal cleanses' {I believe he has advertised
more than one} - The claim was it will cleanse almost every organ in your body and lower blood pressure.

There is where I think his advertising stepped over the line - I suppose under the right circumstances, and
in some people, this product 'might' do what is claimed - But for someone like Noory, who needs to
maintain his credibility - He should realize that no natural or medical product will do all things for
all people - And even FDA approved medical products can sometimes be ineffective and/or dangerous.

I'll sooner believe an Alien abduction story before I'll believe a cure all health product.

in case anyone cares, the show last night,
ed dames said were were one event away from the power grid failing from a solar event.
a low solar cycle like we have now is the most likely point for that to happen.

if something like that does happen, I wonder if china will try to take the USA in the chaos.
I suppose I am up for whatever the future has to offer.
anyone else here ready for a power failure that lasts for years ?
anyone here have an off grid shortwave radio transceiver setup ? if so, what frequency will you be on ?

I tried to stay awake to listen to the show last night, but only caught part of it. Noory and Dames are friends and they usually mention getting together. I think there's a group engineering conflicting schedules so that doesn't happen. Ed doesn't trust anyone that doesn't drink which implies he has a problem with alcohol. If they have drinks together the concern is he'll tell Noory something he shouldn't. It doesn't matter if Ed's remote viewing results were accurate or not. It only matters that his pablum was effective in procuring funding for projects.

In past shows Ed said the killshot will be triggered by a large passing space body which could be Nemesis and/or Nibiru. He's also said that the Earth as a consciousness asked the sun for help. The event might be a collaborative effort to sterilize the planet.

Doesn't trust anyone who doesn't drink huh? The last time I encountered that kind of fanaticism was from a Muslim Doctor. Holy smokes that one sent her off the deep end; you would have thought you had just proclaimed yourself the Anti~Christ. She was giving me a physical for a job and asking about my habits. Everything seemed normal right up to the question about a social drink now and again, then suddenly she flew off in a tirade when I said I did drink socially.
Absolute nut job.

I can remember way back, before Noory, when Art was the host....
There were many, including Ed 'the creep' Dames {my opinion}, profits of doom - According to them the world we are now living in should not exist and we should all be living underground as the drastic climate change 'they'
predicted would have rendered the surface of the Earth, in many areas unliveable - Not to say scientific
climate change isn't happening - but not the way, or at the rate of speed the so called profits of the future had predicted it.

NONE repeat NONE of their predictions came true.

Remote viewing?, maybe sometimes - More often then not we are listening to like minded nut cases
and/or charlatans that will say anything to make a buck and be heard on the air.

Many of the guests on Coast to Coast can and should be taken seriously
- But beware of the profits of doom - Yes, maybe we are doomed - But these profits never get it right
- Did any of them predict 911?

I recall Dan Burisch talking about different timelines and how corrections were made to prevent unfavorable ones. One of them was DC being covered in brackish water. After hearing that I looked at the Washington Monument differently. Records state the change in colors of the stones in the structure is due to construction being stopped then restart. I thought it could have been done intentionally to show the future waterline.
