Binge watching star trek on Netflix.

I've had fevers lately, The world is a little fuzzy and things just aren't making sense, There has been a lot of sleep and a lot of Netflix. I literally let the entire series of Star Trek TNG play though Twice. Tasha Yar still sucks and I can't figure out why she was even there. The point is, even in my fevered state Tng is getting repetitive.

My choices are, Tos, Enterprise, Voyager, DS9 Does anyone know the names of a few good episodes to let play in the background while I stare at the ceiling questioning the universe?

I thought Star Trek: TNG 'Ship in a Bottle' episode was awesome. Try watching X-Files or Fringe.

I'm sorry to say it, but the latest seasons don't have the charm of the first few seasons - there are a couple of good episodes in there, but I still prefer to go back and browse through the first few seasons to re-watch the old gems in there before I fall asleep at night.

I've seen clips of the newer episodes, I'd have to agree, something is lost in the, I guess you could call it a reboot, It doesn't help to know that David Ducovney and Gillian Anderson don't really like each other, That Is to say, I believe they have had issues with each other on several occasions. But then, The Roles of Scully and Mulder would seem to work better for younger actors too.

Star Trek Voyager - Distant Origin, Season 3 Episode 23, one of the finest episodes of Voyager hands down...

Those two shortened seasons of X-Files were a disappointment. Ducovny looked bored and he was phoning it in. The plots were for the most part poor, in my view. No wonder Anderson said she would not return for further seasons.

In regard to Star Trek TNG, I think Season 04 Episode 19 called "The Nth Degree" is a very fine episode...

Last night I watched an episode of Star Trek called "All Our Yesterdays". They only made 79 episodes and I thought I've seen them all. The Enterprise travels to a world called Sarpeidon because their star is going to go supernova. The inhabitants of the world created a technology that allowed them to escape into the past. There was a library with thousands of different destinations. As the episode ended it showed the star exploding and vaporizing the planet. It must be a common theme for races that know their world is doomed to construct similar technologies if they don't have space travel and a suitable alternate planet.

That was the second to last episode they made back in 1969.

I wonder if you could escape into the past if a planet is destroyed. I heard our memories are stored magnetically. A planetary memory could also be stored within its magnetic field which may dissolve all past events on that world if destroyed. John Titor said there's a gravity sensor in his alleged time machine which implies during travel he's not on the planet. What if worlds and stars exist in every location in their orbit and we can only see what is currently being project in the compartment of present.

I was watching Star Trek Voyager, on episode 20 of season 5 called Think Tank, there was a a bioplasmic organism called Bevvox, which was a member of an alien think tank who solved problems for a price, he was over a thousand years old...This creature was introduced in the year 2375 which was an eventful year for the Stars Trek universe, it was also the year the Dominion War officially ended...

Star trek voyager was one of my favorites, There was something about Janeway, she was an awesome captain,

A side note, in true life, It turns out, Kate Mulgrew the woman that played Janeway Had a huge problem with Jerri Ryan, The woman who played seven of nine, Their feud was so notorious That in the final season both actors would refuse to film scenes together and they had to use green screen just to make it look like they were in the same room. Their feud is often compared to the Shatner and Takei. To this Day, Kate Mulgrew is respected by the fan base as a fine actor and one of the best Captains, But the studios don't like working with her. Jerri Ryan is plagued with the same dark shadow over her career, This was one reason as to why it shocked so many people that she is going to be showing up in the Picard series.

It's an interesting feud, Because, Truthfully it all began at how suddenly popular the character seven of nine was, And Mulgrew Took exception to this fact.

To be fair, everyone may think it's childish, but I think in this modern politically rigged world, people should allow enough room for two starlets to have a beef with each other, I mean Shatner and Takei's feud didn't harm their careers any, So why should Mulgrews and Ryans harm theirs? Think about it... The only difference was they were female, yet, This feud harmed both of their careers, It's possible that society was less accepting of their working relationship because it was a different time than when Shatners and Takei's feud took place.

As a Man, I can only imagine what one of their fights would have been like.

I was watching the two part story called Scorpion episode 26 or season 3 for part one and episode 1 of season 4 is part two...The Borg are fighting species 8274 which turns out to be the front line of an epic battle to save the galaxy from destruction, a battle the Borg started and with Voyager's help the Borg prevailed and ultimately saved the galaxy...This occurred in the year 2374 of the Star Trek Universe, in that same year whilst Star Fleet and the Klingons are battling the Dominion, the Romulan Empire joins the battle against the Dominion, and also Worf gets married...

Species 8472 from fluidic space, Designated by the Borg with the number their proper name is The Undine.

latest

Fluidic space is basically another dimension, in this other dimension, all of their vastness of space is fluidic, The Borg designates every species by number, humans are 5618. Anyway, 8472 is highly advanced and evolved, The borg has never been able to assimilate an 8472 because their biology is radically adaptive. I loved that story arc.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine was my favorite ST series. There was a gritty darkness to to Dominion episodes. A couple of years ago I came across an obscure website that was showing all the series episodes. I binge watched for a few months and saved myself a few bucks downloading or buying the DVDs.

I like DS9 a lot too, the Dominion war was a good play through and through, I was watching episode 6 of season 6 called Sacrifice of Angels, over 2000 Dominion ships are poised to travel through the wormhole and overrun the Alpha quadrant, Star Fleet cannot stop them, the Klingons cannot stop them, but one man's actions could stop them, Sisko...He convinced the Prophets (higher beings who reside in the worm hole) to stop the Dominion ships and boy did they, not a trace left and put the fear into the Dominion probably for the first time...
