I used to jog in the park by the lake in our city. January 1998. I was Jogging my then fiancée was with me her dad was with us. we came around and had a clear view of a craft. it was large black triangle. it had no lights no cockpit no sound. to me it looked like a B2 bomber. I recall we stopped "what is that?" I asked. My fiancée said "I don't know. I think its one of those UFO's I read about." he dad said "a flying saucer! I never thought I would see one! its aliens!" I said "I think its military." it moved across the lake. it never changed speed or course.
later calls No airshows no fly ins nothing of the sort.no answers. Truax field can NOT support a B2 landing nor any airport in Wisconsin. "no military aircraft operated over M---- that day." so what did we see my guess Military but maybe her dad...

I am from Wisconsin also. Never saw any triangle shaped UFOs...yet.
I have trouble believing it would be military in our area of the country. Because if it crashed in a metropolitan area there would be truck loads of explaining to do, I do not think they would want any part of.

My husband asked me to comment.
I did see the object as well. It was solid and physical. I entered other realms over the years. No spiritual explanation has been forthcoming. The aircraft was real. My father still thinks it was some kind of spacecraft from the stars. My husband thinks it was Military. As for me? who knows the answer? I know this; on a cold January morning we saw something odd. What was it? I don't know.

I once read witness report, from a military parade in US, that included a B2 bomber flyby over assembled crowd. Apparently B2 flew over completely silently only few hundred feet above.

As well, if triangular plane flew right above you, or at nearby, from that angle you wouldn't be able to see cockpit.

In the real war B2 would be flying really low to double up on its stealth advantage. That would mean that B2 pilots practice low flying a lot in a peacetime.

Do you possible have any other observations? Even your own sensations like smell or tingling of the skin etc.

the B2 was in service in 97. so let's say what I saw is a B2..why would the air force fly a secret plane over Madison wi?

I live in a big city and when there is a big event military jets fly in.

In a sense military planes do stick to designated areas.

I googled "UFO smell ozone" and there was a ton of cases where ozone smell accompanied UFOs.

But there is some wild scientificaly unfounded speculation that B2s use electrogravitic propulsion, which would produce ozone: Electrogravitics - Wikipedia

You should had included ozone smell in the original report because it was confirmed by all of witnesses. Any other sensations, like feeling happy or even euphoric?

The B2 had only been very, very recently revealed at that time. A B2 over Madison, WI would have been unlikely. Not impossible though - would probably have been preceded by some fanfare considering it's novelty then. Even now, really.

There were no air shows none.. it was January. Tuax is a small military base in .Madison The run ways are not suitable to a large plane. Dane county regional airport can land a big plane but no Military craft ever landed at Dane county. Milwaukee can handle any aircraft.
And Chicago can as well. no air shows..
Calls to truax yielded a guarded "no military operations over Madison."

My father in law was filled with a sense of wonder and awe.

Some people who had seen several UFOs like Betty Hill and Ray Stanford (and his crew) claimed that they can feel presence of Ufo in a form of subdued euphoria.

A possible suspect is the TRB3 astra.

Taken yesterday. the exact place of the sighting. my father in law claims he heard the loins roaring from the nearby zoo. A point he never mentioned before. I and my wife do not recall this .
