Avengers: Endgame

But the character (Fury) still exists in a new incarnation. That seems to be done fairly often in recent decades. Rarely is a character simply terminated. And I've read that Jackson had signed a multi-year deal with the studio.

As for Black Panther, he recently appeared in a very successful standalone movie. For that reason it doesn't seem likely that Marvel would want to terminate an opportunity for sequels.

About 1/3 to 1/2 of the characters from Infinity War appear to have been killed off. Nick Fury seems to be one of the casualties.

In the preview of Endgame it is theorized that the black and white characters in the preview got offed.

Now Endgame may have an ending that brings them back.

Or not.

Since Jackson only had two movies left under contract after Ultron, I admit Nick Fury may be gone.

I don't see the same for Black Panther as it would be killing off what could be a big series for Marvel given the success of the first film. In support of this, Chadwick Boseman had a five picture deal, and I'm pretty sure Endgame is just the 4th. Also, there's this: Marvel's 'Black Panther' Will Set Up 'Avengers: Infinity War,' Says Kevin Feige I'm not saying it's proof, but it, along with my previous points, lead me to believe Black Panther will be restored.

We know spiderman is set to return because he has his own movie coming out later this year, a sequel to his past one before his appearance in Avengers...

The movie will be 3 hours & 2 minutes long. The average movie runs 90 minutes.

Yes, generally people are turned off by long movies. If it's accurate they would have enough content for an additional movie, but this is the last Avengers movie. They filmed Matrix 2&3 at the same time and released them a year apart. I believe they also did that with Lord of the Rings.
That could be a mistake. Many people complain about excessively long movies.
'Avengers: Endgame' runtime reportedly over 3 hours
Prepare your butts! Avengers: Endgame is gonna be one long-ass movie.

As revealed by AMC (and seemingly confirmed by Fandango), the final installment of the Avengers franchise will clock in at 3 hours and 2 minutes, making it the longest film in Marvel Cinematic Universe history. Disney has yet to officially confirm the news, but Mashable has reached out for comment.

The reportedly gargantuan runtime bests Infinity War's 149 minutes from last year, and changes Endgame's duration status from "reasonable movie length" to "longer than the SAT."

I wonder how many of those were commercially successful.

I wonder why Thor is still wearing an eye patch in this poster. Rocket gave him an eye.

I just binge watch 7 seasons of Game Of Thrones so I would be ready for next season.

I am confident my butt can take it.
I remember the scene when he received the eye. They're expected to advertise for their organization.

Marvel: The Punisher, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones
DC: The Flash

I absolutely adore The Flash from these movies. I wanted to take him home and make him my best friend. lol

It took me about an hour to recognize the character he played in Fantastic Beasts. He was so different.
