We have both Alexa and 'Hey Google' at each of our two houses and I am wondering what any of you lot think about privacy and being listened to?
I was speaking to the 'bed sensor' man today at my mum's house asking about how these detectors work.
We finally moved on to Alexa as my concern was exactly what was being recorded?
He mentioned that he will not have Alexa because she records everything that yous say.
Explained to me that someone in America was planning a murder and that Alexa had recorded the plot and it was reported to the police and the person was prosecuted.
I am not sure what to believe?
Do you all trust Alexa and if not, why?
(the bed sensors should be fun, as I told him that the house has spirits and the devices will be triggered without any vibrations including the PIRs.
I asked whether they got any false alarms at HQ by which I was told 'Never'
It will be interesting to know the results as I hope to let you all know (by recording) as my PIRs activate about twice every hour)
