I went and tried a different android emulator, MEmu play . It played Nitro Nation Drag and Drift awesomely, no problems at all so far and its fast, no crashing , or freeze up. yet. ever since this game went from Nitro nation 6 to Nitro nation drag and drift i had been unable to play on pc, I should have done this long ago.

A lot of people don't know this about me, I used to develop Homebrew in a Team of people, At a website called DCEMU. Short for Dreamcast emulation, My team was responsible for localizing the Psp exploit for homebrew for English speaking regions.

Every emulator out there has its pros and cons, but by far the best emulator is Retroarch. RetroArch

Retroarch is the best emulator hands down because every emulator ever made is supported on retroarch via plugins. if you have Retroarch, You have every emulator available to the public, It used a media interface that is much like the cross face media bar in the PlayStation 3 and 4. You Download it, Set up your display and inputs once. Then load any rom for any console you want, retroarch will find the best plugin emulator for your rom based on your hardware. The great part of it is. Ratroarch does its very deadline best to outperform every emulator out there, And it succeeds.

Hands down, retroarch is the best emulator you can have right now on any platform.

I highly suggest it.

This is coming from a guy that used to program emulated CPUs. Retroarch isn't about giving you bloatware, It's about giving you the best possible performance hands down on whatever platform you have. I highly suggest it. But only if you want the most perfect console accurate emulation possible anywhere with zero controller latency and no frame rate skip.

Damnit man my fastest car

Dunno about the games but I had a version of the Chevelle. '69 SS396. Thirty + years ago now. Engine had been modified by the original owner who liked racing. Towed it home with my buddy and hit itty bitty Datsun B2000 pickup which probably looked like an ant dragging a giant bread crumb back to the mound.

Put a methyl alcohol injector on it because there was no pump gas to feed it. Coolest burnout machine ever made, you could literally sit and cook tires off their rims. No kidding - for real - 55mph with the Muncie Rock Crusher in 4th gear on the highway and it would still light the rear tires up with ease. Probably 4:11 rear end although I never bothered to puzzle it out.

End result - nearly undriveable. Cool for about 10 minutes but dangerous as all hell requiring great deal of finesse in traffic amongst the normal mortals. At least in the video game if you trash it you get a rest much more easily.

Dude i hope ya still have it,sounds awesome. My friends dad fixed up a tiny luv with a crate motor and rock crusher 4 speed, he let my friend drive it and he blew that rock crusher to pieces , pissed off his dad so bad. i used to have a 71 442 that had a 69 block that i fixed up (1g in each head), it was fairly easy to get it into the low 10`s with keeping power brakes. but i sold it dumbest thing ever did. i can picture that datsun pulling the chevelle cause my cous had a 68 datsun pickup it had 5 slots on it didnt make it so bad than.

I wish i would`ve pursued something like that long ago, my 1st pc was in 1984 i think, before windows i learned how to make a ballon float across the screen. but with this memu it had bloatware and it also has some frame rate skip, so i`ll try Retroarch soon probably, and Thank You

No worries man, The original source for Memu isn't bloated, See the Gnu, The software license, Allows anyone to go to their SourceForge page and put a front end on the emu and usually people will pack in all kinds of adware in their to make revenue, That's why where are so many and so many verities.

To get the best emulation software, You have to follow the homebrew scene. :) Anything you find at random, Will have who knows what bloated and packed in with it. It's how people make living programming. Pick up something free, throw in a bunch of ads, repack it and distribute. But the sources you find around programming scenes is usually clean, Those circles prize performance.

I'm a thread hijacker, I know, I know. Just liked the car. I wish I could get back some of the cool stuff I mistreated as a kid, that's for sure. These days it would be a gold mine - all over my driveway because I don't have any more room.

It was just a water injector for an RV. Needed oil pressure and temp first and when the vacuum secondaries opened then the water would flow. Except in my case it wasn't water, it was methyl alcohol. Dangerous. Eats up the rubber seals on those things instantly. I looked and they still exist in a form but are different because mine was intended for a carburetor and the new ones aren't. Methyl alcohol provides an octane boost (hang on) at a lower temp so it runs a bit cooler. Great for dealing super high compression. Wasn't my idea but boy, it worked.

Just to show that the picture in your mind's eye is probably waaaaay better than what the car deserved here's what it looked like when I owned it and now - not hard to figure out which is which. I was a kid without the $$ or proper skills to give the car what it needed. It's a real SS396 not a clone, and I did give it NOS GM sheet metal which is still on it - a gold mine all by itself today. Again, the owner of this car sought me out a couple of years ago and after we spoke I got the itch again and that's how the 'vette wound up here. It's fun and loud and cool but doesn't have a fraction of the onions that old orange bastard had, and still has. But I can turn the key and drive it like a normal car in traffic. These days the Chevelle's got a cage and he runs 1/4 miles with it

Thought about this for a minute and realized there's a cautionary tale in there.

The imaginary picture we form in our heads is often a lot nicer than reality. The car is exactly what I've described but seeing it as I had it kind of puts it in perspective.

We exactly do the same thing when we read about UFO (especially the pestilential Hudson Valley sightings). ghost or Bigfoot reports. What sounds perfectly reasonable while sitting comfortably in our chairs, even with a fairly accurate description, rarely meets expectations or survives the light of day in person.

Actually that Chess Challenger you posted the other day blew me away. I still have mine with all the pieces and instructions. It still works despite it taking a dart - too close to the board that day I guess. I keep all the bits in my 7th grade wood shop project box

Accidental cross-play makes Star Wars 'Jedi Academy' a console bloodbath
Veteran PC users figured out how to invade console games.

dims

The classic 2003 Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy game recently arrived on PS4 and Switch, but console users excited to try it have encountered a formidable enemy. PC players have figured out how to cross-play on consoles, so they're invading online multiplayer games and slaughtering their hapless Jedi opponents.

The issue was brought up by unhappy Switch players like Max Payment. "Apparently all you have to do is take the server IP from a console match, which is clearly visible on console, and enter it in the PC server browser and join," he noted on the ResetEra forums. "I joined a game where one player was absolutely mopping the floor with us and he had .twitchtv
in his username. Sure enough, I looked him up and he was playing on PC in a switch server absolutely decimating everyone."

On top of all that, PC players are apparently cheating and trolling new users. "Dudes with the n-word as their name are joining your switch public lobbies and spamming keybinds with various slurs," one Twitter user told developer Aspyr. Others have suggested that cross-play remain in the game, but with better control so that console gamers can join PC games in return and keep out trolls or players with 17 years of experience. So far, Aspyr has yet to respond to the issues.

That's pretty lucky, I've always wanted a tg-16 But they are so rare, And for what they actually do, I don't want to pay a collectors price for one, Still hold on to it, You are lucky

thx for saying so shadowprophet

the grandkids love playing the games. 'bonk' and 'keith courage' are one's they really like. the older ones however are getting into the tougher games like 'r-type' and 'sidearm'.

you're right now being a 'collectors' item prices are ridiculous indeed. paid $50.00 for the system way back when. came with 2 controllers and the two games i mentioned above. we picked up a few dozen over the years. had to do a bit of soldering and direct connected the game cable to the tv. was jiggled too many times 'til the game console box connector distorted enough not to seat the plug. snipped it, opened the box and soldered it on the circuit board.
