Have I mentioned how much I appreciate the way you post these videos, Toroid. You even put the link at the bottom which makes it so much easier for me.

Thank you. x24
I do that as backup in the event it can only be played on YT.

That's exactly why, I appreciate it. I also have to go onto chrome browser before youtube.

I can't see any of the twitter or facebook clips listed. I guess it's a combo of outdated browser and not being a member of either.

Got the classic Western Electric 1970 500 rotary dial wall set still in daily use. Harvest Gold - painted the kitchen '70s yellow to match it. My great-nephew was here for a visit (about 10 at the time) and I realized on day three that he had been staring at the thing knowing it was a phone but had no idea what to make of it. The look on his face when I explained what to do when you screw up a digit was priceless. Was very skeptical about the 'that's where the 'dial a number' thing comes from'

The WE G1 handset was perfectly engineered for the human head. Actually comfortable. It's predecessor and everything else that followed it was definitely not. A shame it's gone by the way side. It was also perfectly engineered to smash the bases of telephones and other things within reach
