Gravity, Gizmos, and a Grand Theory of Interstellar Travel

MEGA (Mach-effect gravitational assist)

Woodward’s MEGA drive is different. Instead of propellant, it relies on electricity, which in space would come from solar panels or a nuclear reactor. His insight was to use a stack of piezoelectric crystals and some controversial—but he believes plausible—physics to generate thrust.

I think that's the same thing as Biefeld–Brown effect, only Brown was doing it with very heavy capacitors and high voltage. He got movement as well, just before WW2. Some aspects of it are similar to @waitedavid137 described in his original YT video. Basically when one ramps up voltage really high, into billions of Volts, he starts bending space-time and creating an acceleration field (aka gravity).

I am not a physicist, but the only true way to test this is in a non-inertial frame of reference, or in a free fall. At one point in that article, he mentions that they are using a torsion scale and some electrical resonance. Well, torsion scale has, however small, a finite mass and thus inertial. On other side his stack of piezo electric disks produces a kick each time he sparks high voltage into it. If you get resonance and amplitude of these voltage kicks just right so they match inertial mass of torsion scale, you got the "fake" thrust. It's a different story to try that in a free fall in orbit, without torsion scale, friction or any other parasitic forces.

I had a similar idea with plunger and solenoid, but I just didn't know how to get rid of any time of support with friction etc. They really need to take it to Space Station and see if it will move inside it's long corridors.

Honorable
Q for @waitedavid137 ... Is it fair to say that warp drive works by creating mass currents that then cause frame-dragging and that frame-dragging is converted into linear motion?
Matter currents. Mass has a particular meaning for those few of us who understand relativity as a theory of invariance. For us the term relativity is a reference to it being a theory about how coordinates "relate" in a universe where the laws of physics do not depend on frame, ie invariance.

... and when you observe one frame of reference from the other one is using Lorentz Transformations. Is that right?

I wouldn't get too excited about this one. Woodward has been making these kind of sensational experimental claims since NASA's Breakthrough Propulsion Physics program 20 years ago, when I first looked at his proposal.

The operation of his device depends on something he calls "transient mass fluctuations," which have never been observed and almost certainly don't exist.

Neglecting tidal forces, free-fall is an inertial frame of reference; the Space Station is in free-fall for example.

Woodward's hypothetical operating principle is unrelated to the hypothetical Biefield-Brown effect. Woodward's experiment basically consists of two bodies of matter joined by a spring, and he thinks that he can increase the mass of of each body by a little bit (by storing mass-energy in a piezoelectic material) at the right moment of each oscillation cycle, so that the pair of bodies will push and pull each other forward in a linear manner. It's a nifty idea, but it probably belongs in the Museum of Unworkable Devices.

Nice to see you back @Thomas R. Morrison. Yeah I worked that out with Woodward's device. All that he's making is a asymetric momentu pezoelectric kicker. I myself had a plan to do a solenoid version, more with aim of learning electronics and feedback loops, but with some hope it will fly :).

The most interesting thing for me currently is what Dr. Jack Sarfati said about reducing energy requirement of the warp drive by reducing speed of light in a material. That pretty much means using piezoelectric materials. So Wood ward might stumble onto something completely unintentionally.

Above is a presentation for the paper published by two American physicists who are expertsin General Relativity and warp drive. Without going into equations, that I wouldn't understand anyway, here what these two GR experts say that warp drive would look like:

and ...

Well, well, it looks to me that UFOs are now directly flying out of Einstein's GR.

But you know what. The hypocrisy of the scientific community is still on. If you go and say that their warp drives look exactly the same as UFOs, they call you a quack scientist and throw you our of the discussion.

What's more, our own science, General Relativity GR, is showing in the plain site, that aliens and UFOs are here. After the publication of these papers, it is not even a question anymore if UFOs exist and how aliens cross interstellar voids.

Show us the satellite pics...
If we add up all of the sightings over the years, and there are so many --it is of course not the kind of Hollywood-style contact paradigm-bound scientists have thought of, where the aliens arrive in a big permanent way and for some reason want our resources. Some seem to already be here and coming out of the oceans for the most part, or perhaps are cloaked for long periods in the atmosphere or somewhere out of sight in the solar system. The UFOs I and others have seen over time might have been cloaked for several months over the mountains near Roseburg, OR just surveilling or doing what they do before taking off. They were also seen in Space by Leroy Chiao --so perhaps those did enter the atmosphere from elsewhere. If every one of them was arriving by space --it seems like astronomers would see something now and again --unless they are indeed capable of traveling at speed without being detected --or the nature of the warp propulsion hides them. There it the "Contiguous Universe" idea from the Podesta leaks.. The idea that another universe it stuck on to ours at points in spacetime and perhaps these visitors know how to get here and back when the conditions are right.

There is this otherwise excellent YT channel "Beyond Creepy" that recently published two stories that go along with idea that UFOs are warp drives and indeed there is a large body of evidence supporting that idea. What is really interesting in these two unique stories is that military planes that went after these UFOs possibly disappeared into a wormhole left behind UFO.

An areal battle between UFOs and military planes, where one plane disappeared.

Jun 1965, Jim Camber, New Mexico, US, near Walker AFB, Military Plane disappears during a dogfight.
