The Rendlesham Patsy Has Gone.

For a couple of decades or so the Orfordness Lighthouse has been the mainstay of the general-armchair-debunker's erroneous assertion that "nothing out of the ordinary was witnessed" during the famous 40 years old Rendlesham UFO incident . Even though that particular 'debunk' was itself comprehensively debunked when the lighthouse keeper himself explained that owing to a civilian-demanded backplate on the lighthouse prevented the soldiers from actually seeing the emitted light from their location .... even now the ever pompous hardline debunkers and their simpleminded 'online-experts' followers will gleefully trot out the obscenely fanciful 'Ian Ridpath Debunk' of it all being a simple case of the U.S armed forces being too dim to recognise a flying-lighthouse! :beee:

Orfordness Lighthouse: Historic Suffolk landmark reduced to rubble

Well, now the 'infamous patsy' a.k.a the lighthouse has gone .... and so be prepared for the additional future 'fact-ignoring' truth stretching debunks that still insist that there is value in the 'lighthouse-explanation' by means of reducing the 'backplate' to being a myth that was invented by the tinfoil-hat-brigade [me!] because we're desperate and just won't accept their 'scientific logic'!

Cheers.

The silliness never ends. I must admit to being a bit disappointed that the reductionist dingbats did not embrace the smoldering wagonload of manure explanation of ten or twelve years ago. It's the "solution" that names itself: Flaming Load of Manure. Wouldn't that make a great name for a band? The fans would shorten it to Flaming Load, while the critics, superfans and other cognoscenti would refer to it simply as Load.

The tortured logic and the intellectual dishonesty of the fundamentalist "debunkers" is exceeded only by their smugness. Twats. I have more respect (still not much) for the true believers because they are considerably less full of shit.
