So to sum it up, Novant health: stellar innovations in healthcare ahead of all the rest...? :)

Where are you located? I have never heard of that company. What we have in New Mexico sucks rotten eggs for the most part. The University Hospital has it's problems but at least they do take care of their patients. Everything else is "for profit" and they have very bad "customer service". No other industry would get away with the how badly our for profit hospitals and doctors practices treat their customers. It isn't just in my state, but the whole U.S.

O
I'm in North Carolina, not sure how far these health organizations extend out...

...
Oh, we have Lovelace and Presbyterian "health" groups in our area. I will look up the company you mentioned and see if they are anywhere near by.

After a delay I met with my son's teacher about his report on a historical figure. My son had not gone into the good the fellow had done but focused on his personal views and association with those who the same viewpoints.
I directed my son to write a more positive spin and I handed it to the teacher to balance the report. She was pleased and told me this gave a much more balanced assessment. And will adjust his grade accordingly.
Diplomatic solution accepted!

One good thing from the illness I've recovered from, I lost the few pounds I gained during the winter months, lol....Usually the springtime gardening work does that for me...:tongue8:

Went shopping around for a vehicle today, surprisingly many dealers were closed on a Saturday which I found odd...Anyway, there's a Jeep Liberty I'm interested in but they didn't have a price on the window or description papers in the window so I have to go back on Monday and talk with the salesman...

The weather is getting warmer each day here, fortunately no rain in the forecast for the next few days, we had a lot of rain last week and it needs to dry out some...Springtime is getting closer and closer Yay!...lol

My friend planted tulips and daffodils last month and the daffodils are blooming. We went to the mountains to get some rock for her gardens and I planned on getting some rock to start a wall on the east side of my yard. It was a beautiful day and I dug up all the iris and brought them back to plant in the front yard. I had planted them over 20 years ago and they have survived, but were not thriving. They came from my dad's garden that he had made 40 years ago. I am so out of shape that digging up the iris, helping my friend load her car and hiking down to the gully wore me out. I will get rock next week.

We finally have spring, we may get one more freeze but usually by easter we have no more nights that go below 35. It is time to get the garden started.

Its been a busy 2 days, many follow up appointments with doctors, all good news, that things are almost back to normal with the various test results and I'm recovering very well...Also bought another car yesterday evening to replace the one I lost in the car accident...Life is returning to normal just in time for spring lol...

We are so incredibly proud of our daughter Debbie, who was inducted into the National Honor Society tonight at Memorial High School. She has faced so many challenges, especially over the past year, and she has managed to excel in every way possible. She is looking forward to her senior year.

Been watching Lucifer and am about to finish season 2 (no spoilers please!)

I've been wondering. If The Devil Himself asked you 'what is it you truly desire ?' could anybody here really answer that question?

Of course I'd blurt out 'that really cool black 1962 Corvette you have there Old Scratch' but beyond that, not sure I can really say.

I've been making some changes in my diet since leaving the hospital, not that I was eating unhealthy but there's always improvements that can be made...One of those is my liking for drinking sweet tea, which here in the south is a fair bit sweeter than normal...Well I've cut that completely out of my diet now, no more sweet tea...I purchased an espresso machine to drink espresso coffee and still get some caffeine but none of the sugar because I do not add anything to my coffee, always straight black, no sugar and no cream, same with espresso...I still drink hot tea which i brew by the cup, but not very often anymore, and I do add one teaspoon of sugar to that brewed tea...I do not like tea without some kind of sweetener added but I've always drank coffee or espresso without anything added...

Using normal introspection, the question may be difficult. But under supernatural pressure, maybe the answer just bubbles up from your Id, a la Forbidden Planet.

My son got his history report back.
After all the drama he got an A.
I read his teachers remarks and shared with him my thoughts on the whole thing.
He told me he needs to do one on Woodrow Wilson a second controversial historical figure. The boy can't get a break

We've had thunderstorms passing through all night, since 6pm last night and my dog has been keeping me up half the night when he hears thunder, even if its far off in the distance...If he can hear it then its too close to his comfort...

Pooches got real sensitive hearing don't they. Humans 64- 27, 000 Hertz. Dogs 67 to 45,0000 Hertz.

my dog has been really mooney - some construction going on miles away that's making her skittish. what I can barely detect is scaring the hell out of her.

Yesterday we had the warmest day of the year thus far, it got up to 82 degrees and was sunny all day, a beautiful day indeed...I was outside and also driving around some for much of the day, hiking with my dog and cruising around the country roads in my new car getting a good feel for driving it which I am enjoying...It drives really well, handles well, I can't wait to drive to the mountains, I'd say within the next week or two...
