So then Q is going to look aged, surely Picard will make a comment regarding Q's more seasoned with age appearance, it will be interesting to see what Q provides as an answer...

Oh no. Last time they monkeyed around with timelines they blew up Vulcan. Not like they're gonna build a Vulcan-A so please be careful dicking with the thing that they already wrote a decent end to. Only Kirk could meddle with timelines and come away better off for it.

So, in regards to Q appearing in season 2 of Picard, there's a burning question on my mind that I hope wil be answered in some form in the episode he does present himself, albeit for an immortal he's aging considerably lol...
That question is; Will Q realize he is not talking to Picard but an android instead and will he acknowledge that in some way during the episode?...
A follow-up question I also have; How does Q find people like Picard?...Does he wield technology or does he have advanced psychic abilities?...The universe is a big place...

So there's the question of whether or not Q will recognize that Picard is not Picard but an android simulation of Picard...Now that more of season two has been revealed, this raise a new question with implications affecting canon...The new question is, 'Will the Borg Queen recognize Picard as an android?'...She recognized Data as a machine in the movie 'First Contact' so the Borg Queen should immediately recognize Picard as a machine and make a comment in that regard...They may have copied the collective and subjective consciousness of Picard, his emotional state and memories, his mental state and memories and his physical state and memories at the time of death, however his soul is not in that machine, it is not truly Picard...
The way this series has turned with killing off Picard in season one and with more episodes about the Borg coming, I wouldn't be surprised if we see Seven of Nine take over as front runner and Picard making his appearances as needed to keep the show as Picard...This would make sense because of his age and because of the current woke idealism...

Already seen it no spoilers. But, there is a hint of two distinctly different timelines happening at once.. The flashbacks don't make sense. I don't remember Picard making amends with Star fleet or Elnor ever being part of Star fleet at all. So if those are flashbacks they are weird ones.
And of course, they made us wait till the very last moment for Q to show Up. I did however like how they explained his aging. Overall, It seems like they want us to forget entirely, That Picard died and his soul literally went into the afterlife, and what's left of him is a synth with replicated memories. I feel like Syth Picard needs to be addressed :/
Still... I Absolutely love the show...
I mean, One would think Q of all entities would know that that isn't the exact same Picard he met. Or make some snappy line like Call him El Capitan Soong or something :/

First I wanted to say that
All in all, this series is okay...Many episodes of older Star Trek shows hold my attention well throughout the episode but Picard doesn't do that...Too much dialog and interpersonal chatter doesn't help and making Picard too indecisive doesn't help either...
This series has its great moments though, like what I mentioned in the first paragraph...

Yeah I really liked how they played the aging thing, that was brilliant...
I havent forgotten and although I try to ignore it, it's difficult to ignore...Why didn't Q recognize this?...

I was expecting the Borg to attempt to make him Loqutis Again, This next part was not My Idea, But, I was speaking about Synth Picard to someone on Twitter, I asked, IS synth Picard, Truly Picard. The Guy Said. How Is What Synth Picard is, Any different than how a transporter works, Entirely new molecules. And the soul argument should apply with transporters too. There are some awfully sharp people out there. Those thoughts never occurred to me.

I don't think the soul goes through a Star Fleet transporter like the physical body, the soul isn't bound by time nor space like physical objects, so when their bodies are transported or remolecularized the soul is right there instantaneously with the physical body, merging with it again...
It's interesting the Borg did not call out to Locutus, they didn't use that name as they've done so many times in the past, thry called him Picard...I think the reason for that is they knew he was not human anymore, they knew he was an android and was not Locutus anymore...
