Maybe you should hear it from the horses mouth.

maybe some should go read the stuff the FDA has put out about the new vaccine
U.S. Food and Drug Administration
If you listen at 5.20 you will hear that the new vaccine product is in production. They say its the same but have given a different name to it. I would not trust either one of the shots or anyone pushing any of these shots.

Maybe the thinking that a lot of people were waiting for the FDA to fully authorize the vaccines is true. The headline on the local paper is "Vaccinations Pick up Pace in New Mexico"

Vaccinations statewide shot up 30% over the past 23 days, compared with a corresponding period last month, according to the state Department of Health. More than 29,000 doses were administered in the past seven days

It seems people have been getting vaccinated continuously the whole year but now the numbers have increased.

Johnson & Johnson says a second dose of its Covid vaccine raises antibody levels NINE-FOLD and could be used as a booster shot

Johnson & Johnson announced on Wednesday that a second dose of its COVID-19 vaccine generates a strong immune system response. People who received a second shot of the vaccine six to eight months after their first shot saw antibody levels nine-fold higher than those who received a single dose. The New Jersey-based company says the data provide evidence that J&J recipients should receive booster shots eight months after their initial vaccination. It comes after the White House announced plans to roll out booster shots for people who receive the two-dose Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines. In a press release, J&J said there were large increases in antibody levels among participants between ages 18 and 55.

Ultra-Vaxxed Israel’s Crisis Is a Dire Warning to America

The massive surge of COVID-19 infections in Israel, one of the most vaccinated countries on earth, is pointing to a complicated path ahead for America.

In June, there were several days with zero new COVID infections in Israel. The country launched its national vaccination campaign in December last year and has one of the highest vaccination rates in the world, with 80 percent of citizens above the age of 12 fully inoculated. COVID, most Israelis thought, had been defeated. All restrictions were lifted and Israelis went back to crowded partying and praying in mask-free venues.

Fast forward two months later: Israel reported 9,831 new diagnosed cases on Tuesday, a hairbreadth away from the worst daily figure ever recorded in the country—10,000—at the peak of the third wave. More than 350 people have died of the disease in the first three weeks of August. In a Sunday press conference, the directors of seven public hospitals announced that they could no longer admit any coronavirus patients. With 670 COVID-19 patients requiring critical care, their wards are overflowing and staff are at breaking point.

“I don’t want to frighten you,” coronavirus czar Dr. Salman Zarka told the Israeli parliament this week. “But this is the data. Unfortunately, the numbers don’t lie.”

I don't know if I would call Israel 'ultra-vaxxed', exactly. They took a strong early lead, but have since fallen by the wayside in the global rankings of vaccine coverage:

upload_2021-8-25_16-32-52.png

Their rate of vaccination slowed to a crawl until recently. Between April and August, they vaccinated hardly anyone:

upload_2021-8-25_16-19-12.png

There has been a recent uptick. This is likely due to their booster programme.

The article mentions that nearly 80% of over-12s have received the vaccine. However, Israel has a proportionally large population of children, and children spread the Delta variant just as easily as anyone else:

Association of Age and Pediatric Household Transmission of SARS-CoV-2 Infection

Young children are less likely to bring the virus into the home than older children, but present a greater transmission risk if they do bring it in. The difference is likely down to behaviour, and not biology.

The Delta variant has a basic reproduction number that is over the threshold under which the vaccines we have are able to confer herd immunity. The vaccines do not provide perfect protection to those who receive them, particularly among the elderly and the immune-compromised. These are all things that we knew a long time ago, or could have predicted from what we knew.

@JahaRa what do you think of this?...Will you get another shot of J&J?...

I'm not opposed to getting a repeat shot of J&J, I don't really want to but not opposed to it...

Woman who claimed she had COVID and spoiled $35k worth of food by coughing on it is jailed for TWO YEARS after court classed it as 'BOMB threat'

47091909-0-image-m-21_1629907081341.jpg

Margaret Ann Cirko, 37, pleaded guilty in June to a felony count of making bomb threats. Authorities said Cirko entered a Gerrity's Supermarket location in Hanover Township, near Wilkes-Barre in Pennsylvania, on March 25, 2020, and purposely coughed on fresh produce and other merchandise while yelling that she had the virus and that everyone would get sick. She continued this behavior 'in several aisles before attempting to steal a 12-pack of beer as she was being ordered to leave the store by employees', police said. Joe Fasula (right), co-owner of the supermarket chain, said that over $35,000 worth of merchandise (right) had to be thrown out as a result of what Gerrity's had called a 'twisted prank.' Cirko tested negative for COVID-19, according to her attorney, who said she was intoxicated at the time of the incident. A Luzerne County judge called Cirko's conduct 'totally outrageous' and sentenced her to one to two years in jail, to be followed by eight years of probation. She also was ordered to pay nearly $30,000 in restitution.

Risk of blood clots in Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine as likely as AstraZeneca jab: Study

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is just as likely as the AstraZeneca jab to cause blood clots, a Lancet study has found. Researchers looked at the rates of thrombosis – the formation of a blood clot – in the two vaccines compared to the risk following infection in over 1.3 million vaccinated individuals in Spain.

The study, published by The Lancet medical journal on July 20, found that both vaccines had “broadly similar” safety profiles when it comes to the side effects they may cause. In contrast, the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines were less likely to cause thrombosis than the actual coronavirus – meaning that it was safer for people to take either vaccine than risk getting infected with COVID-19.

Bill Maher reveals that he will REFUSE COVID booster shot, demands 'medical autonomy' and says he only had vaccine in first place to 'take one for the team'

Liberal chat show host Bill Maher has announced he has no plans to get a COVID vaccine booster shot - and said he only got vaccinated in the first place to 'take one for the team.'

On Friday's episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, the 64 year-old said: 'I never wanted the vaccine, I took one for the team.

'And by the way, do you know who doesn't get a lot of vaccines? Millennials,' Maher said. 'I know a lot of millennials, especially the 20 year-olds, they don't think they need it, they're probably right. But I tell them I didn't want it either - I took one for the team.

'But every eight months you're going to put this sh*t in me?' he asked, rhetorically. 'I don't know about that.

'Maybe I don't need one,' he said. 'I don't want a one-size fits all. My body may be different than your body.'

I get the feeling that the medical authorities knew ahead of time that this would occur. They kept silent until most people got the initial shots. After that they sprung the notion that everyone would need to get the booster shot. I don’t think that is going to fly. We shall see.

Every 8 months is excessive, unless it is because the vaccine is sub-standard. I could see it becoming like the flu shot, a new version every year to cover the mutations, but every 8 months looks like a money grab to me (or a bad vaccine).

It doesn't fly with me, I'm not opposed to a booster shot but don't want it...After giving this much consideration over the past few days I've decided I'm in agreement with Bill Maher and I am refusing a booster shot...I've never done the annual flu shot routine either, which may be good for some people, don't know, but its not for me...

The U.S. will reportedly approve booster shots for all 3 COVID-19 vaccines at 6 months, not 8

U.S. officials said last week that adults vaccinated with the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines should start getting booster shots eight months after their second dose was administered, starting in mid-September. Now, a person familiar with the plans tells The Wall Street Journal, federal regulators will likely approve boosters for all three approved vaccines — Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson — starting six months after inoculation.

Data the Food and Drug Administration is reviewing from vaccine makers and other countries is based on boosters given at six months, the Journal reports. "The Biden administration and companies have said that there should be enough supply for boosters that they plan to begin distributing more widely on Sept. 20. The U.S. has purchased a combined 1 billion doses from Pfizer and Moderna."

Japan temporarily halted the use of 1.63 million Moderna vaccine doses over claims that tiny particles were found floating in unused vials

Japan halted the use of 1.63 million Moderna doses in its vaccination drive after its health ministry reported foreign substances in some unopened vaccine vials. Medical workers across the country reported 39 instances of foreign substances floating in unused vaccine vials, per Kyodo News. The vials were found in eight vaccination sites across five prefectures - Ibaraki, Saitama, Tokyo, Gifu, and Aichi.

The Japanese health authorities say the 1.63 million doses of Moderna vaccine are from three vaccine batches produced in Spain under the lot numbers 3004667, 3004734, and 3004956, per the Japan Times. The use of vaccines from these batches has been suspended temporarily as a safety precaution. The substances found in the vaccine vials were tiny particles several millimeters in size, though it is unknown what exactly these particles were made of.

CDC Buries Study Finding that Student Masking Has ‘No Statistically Significant Benefit’

Less than three months ago, the Centers for Disease Control published a mostly-ignored, large-scale study of Covid-19 transmission in US schools which concluded that while masking then-unvaccinated teachers and improving ventilation was associated with lower levels of virus transmission in schools – social distancing, classroom barriers, HEPA filters, and forcing students to wear masks did not result in a statistically significant benefit.

According to the report, scientists believe that the CDC’s decision to intentionally omit the findings on student masking from a summary of the study amounts to “file drawering” the findings – the practice of burying studies that don’t have statistically significant results.

“That a masking requirement of students failed to show independent benefit is a finding of consequence and great interest,” according to Vinay Prasad, an associate professor in University of California, San Francisco’s Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. “It should have been included in the summary.”

Epidemiologist Tracy Hoeg, author of a different CDC study on Covid-19 transmission in schools said that “The summary gives the impression that only masking of staff was studied,” adding “when in reality there was this additional important detection about a student-masking requirement not having a statistical impact.”
