I watched the first episode of this series and honestly, Meh...
I didn't watch any other reviews before seeing it and to me it doesn't have the spark and interesting qualities that the Mandalorian has...Boba Fett was rather dull and probably would have been better if they had shortened the backstory shown throughout the episode...I'll watch more of it as they release more episodes, maybe it will improve...I think for a first episode opener for the series it should have been much better...The Mandalorian had a simplified first episode with no back story but it contained much more depth and quality compared to the Book of Boba Fett...The action scenes and writing were subpar in the first episode...

@wwkirk I had all but given up on this series, the first 4 episodes are complete garbage, however the comments of people after seeing the 5th episode is a huge turn around....They're saying that the 5th episode is outstanding and has the Mandalorian guest starring as well, which may be why the positive reviews...So I'm going to watch this one and see for myself lol...

Okay, well, Wow! It is pretty damn good, but it easily could have been a Mandalorian episode since the entire episode is all about the Mandalorian...There wasn't any suggestion this was a Boba Fett episode because Fett isn't in this episode at all, and the only mention of him was in the final 2 minutes of the show...This is a really good Mandalorian episode and at about 42 minutes is a great scene, I really like what he has now, its totally awesome...I don't know if this is setting up the Mandalorian for his new season or if he's going to be in the last 2 episodes of Fett's first season, there's only 2 left to go...
