I agree, was pretty fun, just finished watching an hour ago

I watched it again, there's so many minor details I wanted to focus my attention on during the second viewing...It appears the Borg Queen may be poised to action against the hostiles in the final seconds of that episode cliffhanger, she's definitely got a tactical plan of her own...

Episode 2 - Wow what a twist of fate!...

That's one hell of a way to end the episode...

...
I was shocked when *spoiler slapped spoiler.. I get that it's the in a mirror darkly universe now.. But, I question weather Q is prime universe Q or is Q a multiverse level entity.. I question weather that Q is our Picard's Q, his behaviour is more like someone from the mirror universe. I suspect genuine Q will show up in time. Wouldn't a Q battle be epic?

I never thought Id see the day when I felt sorry for a Borg Queen, And If I'm not mistaken that's the exact same borg queen that caused the battle of wolf 359. Where loquitis happened. Either way, Yeah, I felt sorry for her, I would have set her free.

I would have wiped her out on stage and then looked for someone else to help with the travel calculations.
once you have a gain of some sort, keep it. and wiping out the borg is a huge gain.

In my experience, With the Star Trek universe, Spock Was able to calculate time travel in his head on the fly, Spock was half-human and less logical than most full Vulcans because of his emotional attachments. Therefore Any Vulcan worth his or her salt should theoretically be able to calculate Time dilation, If it's done like it was in the movies, A warp orbit around a star to Change the way entropy affects the ship and its occupants " It's my understanding that in the star trek universe, Warp speed is well beyond light speed, However, It doesn't Manipulate time because Warp speed doesn't normally Have intense Gravity involved which allows the Warp to dilate Time, <--- This is just with a little science background and some observation in how Time manipulation is initiated in Star Trek. "Usually" But with Q involved, Im sure It's just a snap of the finger or something..

This episode was good

Lackluster events once they traveled back in time...There were a few minor annoyances like for instance the constant shuffling around of that communicator in the hospital between the locals in the hospital...The first act was the most exciting part obviously and I could see why they killed off the Romulan guy, he wasn't doing much anyway lol...

I hope they don't milk this visit to the 21st century too much, I already see wokeness creeping in...Perhaps that's what screwed up the timeline, wokeness...lol

Episode 5 is a good one, some parts of the show were really good...

I like seeing the Borg Queen starting to make her moves, she's got a plan no doubt and executing it now, her manipulative attitude towards Agnes is also clever...They're making it more apparent that Q has a personal problem lol...

Picard episode six has some good moments, seems they may be trying to weave in too many side stories, I don't know, I kind of felt like I was being pulled in too many directions, too much going on at once, we will see...

Oh by the way, here's a possible spoiler within a spoiler lol...

It looks like the Borg Queen/Agnes entity has her sights set on assimilating a major city post haste...

half way through it now,
I agree, I prefer single plot lines like in old time movies and TV shows

The shadow

The shadow knows!
Picard was a muddled mess . I had to watch it twice to figure it out.

I feel Like Picard season 2 is good, But the Writing is inconsistent, For instance, 7 of 9 is supposed to be this incredible example of Borg perfection, She has in the past even outshined several borg queens. But, Since Agnes has become the Host for the Borg queen, You mostly see 7 lurking in the background in irrelevance.

Now, many people could write this off for a litany of reasons, But that's seven of nine. Come on... Having her just meandering the background is simply poor writing. With that said, I still love the show and I don't find the writing to be unforgivable, I just feel that Maybe Jonathan Frakes isn't maybe the most spectacular director...

For that matter, Raffi And Elnor Barely knew each other really, it wasn't until he died that she started freaking out with the PTS over his Death, Why did she Take his Death harder than Picard who could be his Pseudo Father?

It makes no sense. And even if you account for Raffi's Child Abandonment issues. It still makes no sense that she's transposing that onto Elnor, Still, Both are likable characters, and it gives her screen time while not allowing us to forget Elnor. So, It keeps the plot flowing.

It's just, It makes no sense that she only suddenly gave a damn at the moment of his death.. . It comes off disingenuine..
