Curse of The Man Who Sees UFOs

Thank you. After your other post regarding Mike Hill being on UFO hunters I realized he is who I believed him to be. He films things over Lake Erie, which is why I made the mistake of thinking he was from Michigan.

UFOclicks I assume it's Jeremy Thomas then? I remember him from Above Top Secret a few years ago when I still frequented the forum. He likes to go on about his equipment, specifically his "dual camera" set up. Fortunately there's a few bonafied experts at ATS regarding cameras and filming techniques. They were able to explain exactly why they believed his camera set up was deficient. (something about concentrating on number of pixels, rather than size?) Not in my wheelhouse really, so I'm not 100% sure. I do however remember Mr. Thomas being a rather unpleasant character.

Hill is the one who was filing commercial aircraft flying over Lake Erie.

I don't remember clicks name......but yes he did have some impressive equipment he always talked about......and he used it to take great pictures of balloons and aircraft. After enough pictures of balloons at AU.....I gave up and if memory serves everyone else called him the balloon man. But yes he was unpleasant....I think he was just a spoiled kid around 18 or so.

Could you post this documentary here?

Quite frankly, you'll likely be disappointed.

While I personally found the documentary entertaining, it was less about the objects filmed and more about the filmographer, Christo Roppolo.

I'm not sure that was the original intention. But Christo has a somewhat tragic life story. Came very close to having an actual career in producing/writing/directing horror films. His early work was fairly acclaimed. And then through his own flakey Californian hippy ways got himself burned really bad, and it all went down the tubes. In a way this documentary is his redemption. It's done well and earned accolades. So I can only assume there's more films to come from Mr. Roppolo.

That said there is footage. Some that I recognized immediately as commercial aircraft. Some satellites. Maybe some which are more exotic stuff such as ball lightening. The end footage is the big pay off. Not sure what it is. But you have to go on a semi exhausting personal journey with Christo to get there. Lol...

Watch the trailer, you'll understand everything I just typed out.

Sort of how I felt as well. Some of the footage Christo presented was.. obvious that it was nothing out of the ordinary. But the end, I believe the last 25 or so minutes where the end footage is shown.. That was something that I kind of had to rewind and watch again to see if there was any sort of explanation for that one.

You explained it better than I could have :p

Based on what I see makes me think of that line from Star Trek "Voyage Home" when Kirk to the whale lady...."back in the 1960s he was part of the free speech movement and I think he did a little to much LDS".

I will say this, the filmmaker who followed Christo around was smart in his editing. Just as you believe there's no way Christo is getting anything real, the final clip is presented, and it's interesting. Not saying it's indisputable proof. Or even alien craft. Just pretty cool.

Is this final clip available to view without viewing the entire movie?
