How many Languages

Kind of, sort of a poll...

How many languages do you speak?...

How many languages do you read?...

How many languages do you understand but cannot speak much or read?...

I speak English and some Spanish...

I can read Sanskrit, Polish, German, and Spanish...

I can understand more Spanish than I can speak and I can understand Polish and some Chinese but cannot speak much of either one...

There are 4 people who work for me that speak only Spanish...

I never had any interest in learning French in any way, shape, or form...It makes me cringe to hear French being spoken...

The more languages you know, the easier it is to learn another one

That's true to a point, but if you know European languages it doesn't make learning Chinese any easier, the syntax and structure is quite different...

Some Russian words are very similar or the same as Polish...

I hate it too. It takes a good sense for languages to read polish and pronounce it...

Oh I cannot speak Polish very well at all, I can say a few simple greetings but do not pronounce those well lol...I have been around some Polish people for almost 20 years and over that time learned to understand and read the language well enough...

Spanish seems to be the second language in the US and I have been around Spanish speaking people since I was young...

I wanna learn a 3rd language for years now but don't have any ideas. I'm a big language fan...all kinds of languages. I know morse code and knew the prisoner knocking language at some poing (forgot it, but it's really simple) :D Tried ancient egyptian hieroglyphs, only to realize it's incomplete and we don't know all about it. I'd be interested in something that's rare, but still spoken. Something from Asia...

I wanna learn Braille too (used by blind people)

That Japanese Man Yuta

It's always strange seeing such unusual combo. The most rising women's tennis player at the moment is a Japanese/Hatian girl. She's taller and more athletic, and very disciplined.
