I tried to google more but only found whats already presented.. We need to look for native russian reports.
However shes been spotted by the local police too.

I haven't been able to find any updates, there may be but the news could have been kept in local circles and not reached international news...Is she still walking?...

my guess is that she has some relative that is buried there
so she is walking the road trying to understand it all, or wants to see the grave site but does not know where it is, so the entire road must be walked.
drives in, parks in an out of the way spot, walks the road all day and gets back to her car. but someone else could be driving her that picks her up at the end of the day, I am not quite sure,
but either way, she returns to the road to walk it more the next day.
she will quit when she walked the entire road, and it dose not have to be walked in order, just as long as all of it is walked.
