Schemer Steinberg wants us to believe he pays the daily rate for a room. He knows full well he is stuck at the motel. He would be paying a weekly rate to be sure. He has no intention of leaving the Phoenix area. It’s just another scam to say he is moving so people will give him more money to blow. Phoenix is the largest city in Arizona. Where better to drive a taxi cab? Just more total foolishness from Steinberg.

Well spoken, sir! I tried to listen to this, thinking it would be a fascinating train wreck. I just couldn't get through it. So boring and uninformative. Plus, the drone of the Randllbot's unctuous tautology. Zzzzzzz…

Actually I think I misread his meanderings. Eh, he'll not move in any case, I feel pretty certain, unless someone somehow moves him. He just might stop griping about how expensive it is in Mesa. For awhile anyway.

So when he talks about his lifestyle he only has a few meager possessions - hardly worth bothering with. When it comes to moving he needs moving expenses - what the hell for Gene? You said you had fit all your stuff in a hotel room and shifted it around yourself. Even if you still had some stuff in storage it should be easy for you to move it all yourself. Why do you need help? It's pretty obvious this is another excuse for why you don't move or a means to beg for extra funds (depending on the circumstances at the time). The contradictions in the Turdboy's stories are beyond belief.

He's not a fraud. Our paths crossed many years ago and back then he seemed like a decent, open-minded guy. I was sad to hear the show. He came off as a dismissive know-it-all.

The forum traffic over there may still be similar to what it used to be but for different reasons. Train wreck fascination. Actual contributions have fallen off the cliff. Or were sometimes edited away.

He and Randall are adding to this site's stats too.

As someone directly involved in creating the Paracast forums and building it into a powerhouse, I can attest that it's deader than a doorknob today, a veritable cemetery. Gene has totally destroyed anything good and lasting about the podcast, the forum, and the former reputation of the show. I'd say shame on him, but he is entirely shameless.
