Funny Pics

I've heard of stories for years now, that people have been denied or even lost their jobs because places use facebook to look up information on people. I wonder does this new privacy protect people from possibly losing their jobs over a few FB posts? Facebooks biggest issue really, Anyone can take anything about anyone else out of context and use that moment to judge you by.

But then, People could do that without FB anyway lol
you are very correct on this. i have heard stories of people losing their jobs over facebook.. also.. my bro was in the marines.. he got in HUGE trouble because he put a picup of his fiance sitting in one of the fighter jets.. but thankfully, there is an option on FB to keep all your info and posts seen strictly by your own friends. more than ever everything is done via online now. its actually very difficult to go into a place that is hiring and do the old school way ofintroducing yourself to the manager. everything is done via online application and this stupid 'survey' where a computer decides how elligible you are to do the job. when i was a shift manager who would interview new employees.. i had better success with the people who would call all the time for a job vs. those who 'scored well' on their 'survey'

that is what actually kept me from wanting to go to school for art. everything was now centralized around graphic design via computer.. if i wanted to go for hands-on fine art i'd be better trying for the PA academy of the fine arts again. art institute of philly was really trying to get me to join thier graphic design program but i said nope.. "take art out of heart and it's just 'eh'"
they are also pushing to rid cursive writing from the school curriculums.. saying its 'out of date and not needed for everything text-typing now' what better way to hide more history than to rid the way to write cursive as well. i prefer the old fashioned hands on way of doing things. means more.
i could go to a computer stand and have it make me a pizza for a few bucks.. or i could spend more at the italian pizzaria where they actually care.
care = love.. i wanna see, taste, hear, enjoy the love

i find that my generation is stretching into 2 categories.. the 1] embraces the new-age tech; the 2nd] embraces the past and the 'hands-on' way of doing things. i was one of the last generations to live in some analog then see everything go to digital. i fore-see many people my age and younger wanting to do things old-school. finding love in the things created with love. can't get blood sweat and tears from cookie-cutter machines
