So the MSM is pushing China's propaganda, the Hong Kong airport has been closed because the Chinese government shut it down, not because the protesters are getting more violent...This was a peaceful protest and China is pushing the envelope and directly causing more violent clashes...

They talked about this briefly last night on C2C. The speaker gave a comparison if LAX was mobbed by protesters they would stop it very quickly. There must be another agenda in play. The shear magnitude of people presents a huge problem. Maybe they'll turn those vacant ghost cites into jails.

I know that things like hate and violence are nothing new, but it's especially disturbing in these more enlightened times, WIth so many eyes watching so much evidence of the despicable acts people commit against each other.

It's not just in China, It's all over the world, People are getting more violent more aggressive and even more callous about their despicable violence, To me actions like this don't speak of a government trying to maintain order, These actions speak of a superpower that believes itself so untouchable that it can carry out these acts without consequence. And that's a scary sentimentality Because that attitude isn't unique to just China.

China's Xi Jinping warns attempts to divide country will end in 'crushed bodies and shattered bones'

As street battles between protesters and police continue to escalate in Hong Kong, China's authoritarian leader warned Sunday any further attempt to divide the country will literally be crushed.

Chinese President Xi Jinping made the comments during a visit to Nepal, where he became the first Chinese president in more than two decades to visit the country.

“Anyone attempting to split China in any part of the country will end in crushed bodies and shattered bones,” he told Nepalese Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli, China's state broadcaster CCTV reported. “And any external forces backing such attempts dividing China will be deemed by the Chinese people as pipe-dreaming!”

Man subdued after biting off ear of pro-democracy politician, stabbing four in Hong Kong mall
A knife-wielding man injured at least four people and bit off part of the ear of a local pro-democracy politician amidst clashes with police at a Hong Kong mall on Sunday, according to local media reports.

Riot police also stormed several malls in Hong Kong in an attempt to limit the pro-democracy protests, as the anti-government movement approaches the five-month mark.

The attack took place at the Cityplaza mall in the Tai Koo district on Hong Kong Island following online messages that urged protesters to meet in seven locations to push forward for political reform.

The unnamed male slasher was subdued by mall passersby following the attack, according to the BBC.
