Stare..... They are always staring
I fantasize about wintering in Chico, I used to live in Los Angeles for 35 years until things went a little South for me a couple of winters ago. But as you know it's an awfully expensive there now, almost like New York. I've been to Chico several times since it's a pretty cool little town. In looking at some of these maps I'm wondering about it now.

Mind you it isn't even close to Ridgecrest but I can't stop wondering about it.

These earthquakes could be harbingers of things to come. I had assumed that having moderate earthquakes was a good thing because they may relieve stress in a relatively safe way. According to some of the things I've read, however, it may be signaling a new wave of bigger quakes in the near future.

Hopefully most west coast cities will continue to take steps to be better prepared for earthquakes and tsunamis.

M6.5 earthquake hits 5km of Tallaboa, Puerto Rico - Strange Sounds
The shallow, 6.2-mile-deep quake struck at 8:24 a.m. (UTC) or 4:24 a.m local time, just south of the island. More than 340 felt reports have been submitted on the USGS homepage. Several aftershocks are still rumbling the islanders.

A tsunami alert was initially issued for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, but officials said there is no risk of tsunami. So, there are currently no tsunami warning, advisory, watch, or threat, and no deaths or injuries have been reported yet.
