Deadly Wuhan Coronavirus

I always used to hear that communism is evil.
China forces Italy to buy same coronavirus supplies it had donated to Beijing a few weeks ago

Excerpt:
China's efforts to rebrand itself as a global leader focused on humanitarian relief amid the coronavirus outbreak has hit a major snag and perhaps revealed Beijing's true intentions behind their public relations blitz.

After telling the world that it would donate masks, face guards and testing equipment to Italy, China quietly backtracked and sold the Mediterranean country desperately-needed medical equipment, according to a report.

What's worse is that the personal protective equipment (PPE) China forced Italy to buy was actually the same PPE Italy donated to China before coronavirus rushed its own shores and killed nearly 16,000 people.

It is not good news about Boris Johnson. His deputy is Dominic Raab, Foreign Secretary, whom I do not think of highly at all. The credibility of the British government has been damaged by repeated assurances that the Prime Minister's condition is mild, his move to hospital is only precautionary, his move to intensive care is only precautionary, etc (presumably, if he ends up dying, it will be strictly a precaution only, and he will keep a watchful eye over the government in the afterlife, and still be taking daily briefings from ministers at his graveside).

Sweden is grossly under-reacting to this crisis, they simply need to respond promptly to protect their citizens...

Sweden's deadly gamble: Country suffers its biggest daily jump in deaths as 76 more people die - taking total to 477 - amid backlash at government's refusal to order a lockdown

Sweden's coronavirus death toll jumped by 76 in the latest figures today, bringing the total from 401 to 477. The previous record was 59. Meanwhile the number of confirmed cases jumped by 376, taking the overall tally from 6,830 to 7,206 (the rising numbers are shown on a graph, left). Bars and restaurants are still open in Sweden along with primary schools, making it an outlier in Europe (people are seen outside, right). However, the Swedish government today demanded emergency powers while a field hospital opened in Stockholm, suggesting that Sweden's response may be hardening. Sweden's prime minister Stefan Lofven (inset) has told his country to prepare for thousands of deaths from the pandemic.

That's a real shitty thing to do to Italy, what an insult, WTF, and to boot its their fault 100% for this pandemic, no one else but China is to blame for this whole calamity...

Do you think this had anything to do with the timing of the Queen speaking to the public last night?...

They may not wear it well enough for many to appreciate.

China will suffer as much as the guy who doesn't wash, the ones who can't smell their own stink.

Back door and in the pocket I hope but to get them to openly own this is a too much to ask for.

I'm sure Johnson will pull through like a trooper.

Is shocking though and I hope the right message for those who aren't playing the game.

Look at a chart in the above post #1,355 and you'll see 3 deaths in China. The latest news is no new deaths in China. That means as soon as lock-down runs it's course we are back to normal.

China records no new virus deaths for first time

But if you are really smart, jump in and buy stocks or even better stock index tracking funds, because right now markets are rising like crazy, exactly in anticipation of the recovery from coronavirus:

Global Stock Markets Rise, Extending U.S. Rally: Live Updates

And, good news is that increased privacy during the lock-down helped pandas mate, so there a lot to look forward to:

A zoo has been trying to get two pandas to mate for 10 years. When coronavirus shut the zoo down, the pandas finally did

And, yeah, lets close this thread and go back to talking again about UFOs :)

It depends. China has strict quarantine procedures for those coming into the country from abroad. Britain has, to my knowledge, not placed any travel restrictions on anyone coming into the country (although almost all European countries have). If Britain wishes to get serious about suppressing the virus transmission, then it must have travel restrictions and strict quarantine in place for incoming arrivals, like most the rest of the world. Eventually normal travel can resume between countries that have external quarantine arrangements to a similar high standard.

Pennsylvania, Colorado and Washington DC emerge as new coronavirus hot spots, while Louisiana's fatalities increase to 477 up by 168 in three days

Pennsylvania, Colorado and Washington DC are become emerging coronavirus hot spots as the United States enters what officials warn will be the 'hardest' week of the pandemic crisis. The death toll from coronavirus has been rising in places like Pennsylvania, Colorado and Washington DC as the number of deaths nationwide increased to nearly 10,000 and the number of infections rose to 337,000. Those three areas have seen the number of infections and deaths more than double in the past week.

Coastal towns slam Georgia Governor's 'stupid and crazy' decision to RE-OPEN the state's beaches during the lockdown as 'the Pentagon ordered 100,000 body bags to store corpses of coronavirus victims'

Last week Governor Brian P. Kemp issued a statewide stay at home order in light of the coronavirus crisis, but re-opened all beaches, leading critics to slam him for allowing locals to venture outdoors. The orders superseded that of Tybee Island's Mayor, who shut down the popular beach town. Since Kemp's order, locals and visitors have flocked to the beach, in defiance of the White House's orders to stay indoors and avoid contact with others. On Saturday Tybee Island Mayor Shirley Session issued a statement slamming the governor's re-opening of beaches as a 'reckless' mandate that puts locals and tourists at risk.
