Just for laughs:

In most superheroes movies and TV (as well as the original comics), along with other Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror shows, non super-powered, non-supernatural persons are often thwapped by a powerful being. Typically, the twapped person goes flying through the air 10s of yards. Sometimes, upon landing, the impact smashes furniture or some other significant structure. But, more often than not, maybe 95% of the time if the thwapp victim is a hero, they will recover very quickly with little to no injuries. Sometimes they lose consciousness briefly, but soon they are back into the fray. Who knew ordinary humans had rubberized bodies! :ohmy8:

The best trope though is when the villain has the chance to finally kill his archenemy, the hero, but chooses an intricate, diabolical, sometimes Rube Goldberg-esque method of doing so, instead of a bullet to the brain. - Dude, I get it, you want your enemy's death to stand out as a memorable climax to a long-standing rivalry. But why the hell don't you stick around to watch?! As soon as you leave, that's when he'll somehow escape. Like he's done countless times before!b007

(Of course, if we want to get Freudian, maybe the villain really doesn't want to kill the hero. Maybe he needs the presence of the hero to validate, or at least highlight, his villainy. o_O)

I'm not a comic fan but need to ask:

Does this mean that big chrome metal Russian guy from the Deadpool movies will now have to be banned ?

Is a shunning sufficient? Like the Amish, just turn your backs and expel him from the community ?

Titanium Man was the Russian bad guy who fought Iron Man numerous times. In reality he was born in the Ukraine when that country was part of the Soviet Union. He was also a KGB agent at one time.

Not a clue who that is. I'm talking about the big guy with the chrome balls. Although, he seems awfully moral and preachy so I don't think he'd be randomly blowing up innocent bystanders.

Elizabeth Montgomery, famous as Samantha from Bewitched is also in the episode. Her very last acting role.

Moon Knight will premiere on Disney+ one week from today.
I am not familiar with this character, but am curious. Apparently, he is mentally ill.

I'm watching episode 1 right now while I eat lunch...

It was alright, slightly confusing in the beginning, seems

Something is possessing him but I think I have to rewatch the beginning of the episode to see how exactly he made contact with the entity...It could be from the scarab he had in his possession, most likely but not positive about that...

Episode one was entertaining enough, looking forward to episode two...Runtime is approximately 45 minutes...

Discovered an obscure Dr. Strange movie from 1978. It was made for TV and is low-res. It was intended as a pilot for a series that failed to get the green light. Stan Lee served as a consultant for it.

I'm 2/3 of the way through it. It's not bad; it's an origin story with Morgan Le Fay as the villain, and Wong and Clea as supporting characters. The special effects seem primitive, but I believe they were above average for the time period.

It may be viewed for free here:
