I'm not sure that you've ever skied (I haven't) - but it is easier to learn than skiing. Only 2 edges (instead of 4), both legs side by side (no splitting legs opposite directions), no poles to worry about + more fun

Never done snow boarding but I used to surf on the west coast when I was in the Navy...

Skateboarding is all I ever did, And I wasn't even Good at it, I was competent... I don't know what I would do On a snowboard. I mean, Those can slip in all directions :/

This place is in Wisconsin too. Not sure how far you live from it but this is a great way to learn in the off season
