I was listening to the radio (imagine that anymore) and heard a caller vent about this. Said the medal should’ve gone to Charles McGee.
As far as I know that’s only for civilians. As for Rush - meh. Fine.
I thought McGee took the cake. He looked damned good for 100 and they did promote him to brigadier general. I doubt he’d ever have imagined that - and standing next to his great grandson talking about a career in the Space Force no less.
