The universe is topologically flat ie parallel lines are nonintersecting/nondivergent on a global basis away from gravity concentrations.

Bur that isn't 2D.

So you stumbled over the consensus views on this..

Well. I'm not so sure. For all I know 4D is just curled up real tight into a manifold of higher dimensions.

So the globey Earth could be considered very flat looking from a different vantage point.

Well...

We could be an expanded version of 2D space. Then there is the holographic principle. And the "there's only one of each fundamental particle" theories and existance is an illusion.

There are a couple of popular relatively sane views on space topoology, at least 3 or 4.

Plus the fact we only see a 46 light year sphere, which means most of what we "know" about the Universe could be wrong.

Flat-Earther's steam-powered rocket lofts him 1,875 feet up into Mojave Desert sky

Moment 61-year-old blasts himself off the ground on a homemade steam-powered ROCKET at 325mph to prove that the earth is 'shaped liked a frisbee' - before landing with a bang
  • 'Mad' Mike Hughes propelled himself about 1,875 feet into the air in his homemade steam-powered rocket and made a hard landing in Mojave Desert
  • The rocket man, who believes the Earth is flat, made the launch near Amboy, California, on Saturday
  • The launch in the desert town east of Los Angeles, was first set for November and was scrubbed several times
  • The 61-year-old said that outside of an aching back, he's feeling fine after the dangerous incident

He finally went up - just like the self-taught rocket scientist always pledged he would in a mission to prove the Earth is flat.

He came back down in one piece, too - a little dinged up and his steam-powered vessel a little cracked up.

But there wasn't any footage of him climbing into the craft, leading some to question whether he even took off.

Landed on his head, cool. I could have gone that high on the hill behind me ?

Yeah I can drive 30 min north of my home and be over 3000 ft. high, i dont need a rocket for that...lol

HOLY SHIT THE SYNCHRONICITY EFFECT STRIKES BACK!
the launch happened at amboy/nevada an place wich i am currently researching due to some weird stories from the marines stationed there!

nope, very suspicious...
notice how in the picture with the rocket falling back there is no hatch visible!

Yep noticed that, no hatch so how did he get in it ? you would think camera crews would be all over the rocket filming him getting out of it.

August

Metanoia
So did he actually do this ? The rocket did but not sure if he was in it. Can't find the footage of him getting in it .
Maybe this will tell us more. The commentator says he wants to see him " Rocking up in the f***ing air or the rocket exploding today " lol.
