The shadow
The shadow knows!
I thought about it why did he have a gun in the first place?

Watch the video at the end documenting a previous encounter with this individual. I can't believe they had him on the ground and didn't take that pistol away from him. Amateurs.

Disturbing new footage shows Alex Pretti armed, spitting at federal immigration officers and smashing the taillights of their black SUV during a chaotic clash more than a week before he was fatally shot by Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis.
The video, which the BBC said it has verified, captured the ICU nurse yelling at agents while they were driving away during a heated Jan. 13 protest before booting the back of the car, prompting them to jump out and tackle him to the ground, according to footage from The News Movement.
The man — who was wearing similar clothing in the video to what Pretti had on when he was fatally shot last Saturday — was taken to the ground by at least five agents, who deployed tear gas into the whistle-blowing crowd during the wild confrontation.

The horde of agents continued to hold him down until he retreated and joined the raucous crowd in shouting at the agents — with a gun visibly tucked into the back of his pants.
Homeland Security Investigations is “reviewing” the newest footage of the 37-year-old’s apparent prior brush with federal agents, the Department of Homeland Security told The Post.
A spokesperson for Pretti’s devastated family and the family’s attorney have verified that the man in the video is Pretti, the Minnesota Star Tribune reported.
“A week before Alex was gunned down in the street — despite posing no threat to anyone — he was violently assaulted by a group of ICE agents,” Pretti family attorney Steve Schleicher said in a statement to The Post.
“Nothing that happened a full week before could possibly have justified Alex’s killing at the hands of ICE on Jan. 24.”
Pretti was apparently known to federal authorities and had suffered a broken rib during the violent confrontation with agents 11 days before his death, CNN reported Tuesday.
Federal immigration officers had documented details about Pretti, along with other anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis in recent weeks, according to the outlet.
Pretti also had a handgun, which he had a license to carry, when he confronted Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis last Saturday. Federal officers pulled the loaded Sig Sauer pistol from his waistband before firing at least 10 shots at him while he was pinned to the ground.
DHS investigators believe an errant round from Pretti’s own pistol — after it was taken from — may have prompted Border Patrol agents to open fire.
ICE (among many others) recently stopped using that model for that exact reason.Could it be that his P320 had an "uncommanded discharge" at the worst possible time?
Better the devil you know than the devil you don't know!
What do you make of claims in the Economist magazine that there is not such a large density of illegals in Minnesota, so ICE's strong presence there is not rational to the end of deporting as many illegals as quickly as possible. Rather, they claim, it is about playing politics.
Could you post that Economist article as I have not read it...If they are quoting social media sources it seems their data is almost three years old...What do you make of claims in the Economist magazine that there is not such a large density of illegals in Minnesota, so ICE's strong presence there is not rational to the end of deporting as many illegals as quickly as possible.
