This makes the third time I've had it. To be honest. I can't really tell you guys much about it. Every time I've had it, it attacked me differently, The first time, I barely knew I even had it. The second time, There was fatigue And a lot of sleep.

This time, There has been, Pain in my Head and Neck and Back, Nasua And Vomiting, High fevers, And Sweating, and MY whole head has been stuffed up so tight I can barely breathe. I am beginning to pull out of it,

But, From my experience alone, It seems like each time you get it, It's unpredictably worse than the last time. ....

I dread the idea of catching it again. That would be it for me.

Maybe the truckers should just form a big caravan and rush the border - that's perfectly acceptable.

Omicron survives longer on plastic, skin than prior variants; nose swabbing found best for rapid tests

The Omicron variant can survive longer than earlier versions of the coronavirus on plastic surfaces and human skin, Japanese researchers found in laboratory tests. Its high "environmental stability" - its ability to remain infectious - might have helped Omicron replace Delta as the dominant variant and spread rapidly, they said.

On plastic surfaces,
average survival times of the original strain and the Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta variants were 56 hours, 191.3 hours, 156.6 hours, 59.3 hours, and 114.0 hours, respectively. That compared to 193.5 hours for Omicron, the researchers reported on bioRxiv ahead of peer review.

On skin
samples from cadavers, average virus survival times were 8.6 hours for the original version, 19.6 hours for Alpha, 19.1 hours for Beta, 11.0 hours Gamma, 16.8 hours for Delta and 21.1 hours for Omicron.

On skin, all of the variants were completely inactivated by 15 seconds of exposure to alcohol-based hand sanitizers. "Therefore," the researchers conclude, "it is highly recommended that current infection control (hand hygiene) practices use disinfectants... as proposed by the World Health Organization."

How Fauci Turns Science Into Propaganda for Big Pharma
  • Robert F. Kennedy Jr. succinctly summarizes how Dr. Anthony Fauci wields his power to control and manipulate science across the globe.
  • It’s Fauci’s job to conduct research on chronic diseases to figure out their etiology and environmental causes to protect public health, but instead, he turned the NIAID into an incubator for pharmaceuticals.
  • Fauci has a $7.6 billion annual budget that he uses to develop new drugs, which he then farms out to universities.
  • Fauci’s control — in collusion with that of Bill Gates — has rendered the majority of global scientific research nothing more than pharmaceutical propaganda.
  • Fauci shares drug patents with universities, sells them to drug companies, splits the patents with them and walks those drugs through the FDA approval process, which he also controls — once approved, Fauci himself often profits.
(Excerpt)

In 1984, when Fauci was appointed director of NIAID, 11.8% of Americans had chronic disease, but this has risen sharply since.

Fauci doesn’t talk about this public health failure — at least not publicly — but as Kennedy noted, it was Fauci’s job to figure out why cases of autism, food allergies, ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder), sleep disorders, juvenile diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and many other chronic and infectious diseases have skyrocketed.

It was Fauci’s job to conduct research on these diseases to figure out their etiology and environmental causes to protect public health, but instead he turned the NIAID into an incubator for pharmaceuticals. According to Kennedy (video 4:32):

“When Tony Fauci came in, 6% of American children had chronic disease. By 2006, 54% had it. We went from being the healthiest country in the world with the healthiest children to the sickest. Literally, we do not even qualify as a developed nation. We are 79th in the world, behind Nicaragua and Costa Rica in terms of our health outcomes.

“And why did that happen? Well, the one figure who is more responsible for that than anybody else in the world is Tony Fauci. He is the reason we take more pharmaceutical drugs than any other nation in the world. Three times the average among western countries. We pay the highest prices and have the worst outcomes.”

I had COVID Feb 2021, suffered with Long COVID but now almost back to normal. Unvaccinated although not an anti vaxxer. Research suggests that a high percentage of LC sufferers who went on to get vaccinated report adverse reactions especially after the second dose. Have been part of the ZOE study. I had an NHS anti body test 27th November 2021 and was found to have immunity still. The e mail also stated I had other anti bodies probably from a vaccination……. I’m unvaccinated! I really hope this report is published so that I can travel etc and be recognised as immune? They need to recognise this and give us a COVID pass. Thanks for your input, so enlightening.

My oldest daughter had it in June 2020. She only realized it only because she was tested regularly due to her job as a Medevac. Late last year she tested for antibodies and they were high most likely because of the exposure when dealing with patients. Her doctor advised her against the vaccine because of her natural immunity from the earlier infection. She was fired later and called callous by her coworkers...

I tested positive for antibodies during a blood donation in October 2020. I don't recall having any symptoms, and the timeframe would suggest "wild type". I just finished a pretty mild omicron case last week. Chills and fever on day one. On and off fever on day two. Nothing thereafter. Other than my normal supplements, I took no medication for omicron not even anything for the fever. In any given year in my over half century on this planet, I would expect to have at least a day or two of the symptoms I had. Instead of shipping out a billion COVID tests, we should be giving 50 million or so people the opportunity to have an anti-body test. After that, let people go about living their lives while focusing protections on the groups known to be at severe risk. Your otherwise healthy five year old was never at a high risk,

New York judge strikes down state mask mandate

New York judge strikes down state mask mandate
The judge ruled that Gov. Kathy Hochul overstepped her authority in imposing the requirement.

By Reuters

A New York judge struck down the state's mask mandate on Monday, one week before it was due to expire, ruling the governor overstepped her authority in imposing a rule that needed to have been passed by the state legislature.

Judge Thomas Rademaker of New York State Supreme Court on Long Island found that the state legislature last year curbed any governor's ability to issue decrees, such as a mask mandate, amid a declared state of emergency.

It was latest setback for executive branch officials at state and federal levels. Earlier this month, the U.S. Supreme Court blocked President Joe Biden's vaccination-or-testing mandate for large businesses. A judge in Texas last week ruled that Biden could not require federal employees to be vaccinated.

Governor Kathy Hochul, a Democrat, vowed to fight back, saying in a statement, "We strongly disagree with this ruling, and we are pursuing every option to reverse this immediately."

"My responsibility as Governor is to protect New Yorkers throughout this public health crisis, and these measures help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and save lives," Hochul said.

Disagreements and court action over mandates in a number of states have become a flashpoint of the pandemic response in the United States, often dividing Democrats and Republicans.

The requirements in New York state, home to around 20 million people, include wearing masks in schools, on public transit and other public indoor spaces.

Hochul declared a state of emergency almost immediately after the World Health Organization named Omicron as a variant of concern on Nov. 26.

At the time, New York state's seven-day average of new daily cases was around 6,400. That number rapidly rose until peaking at 73,815 on Jan. 10. It has since fallen to about a third of that.

When Hochul imposed the rule on Dec. 31, she called it temporary. She later extended the original expiration date of Jan. 15 until Feb. 1.

Rademaker wrote that his ruling is not intended in any way to question or otherwise opine on the efficacy, need, or requirement of masks as a means or tool in dealing with the COVID-19 virus, but that "enacting any laws to this end is entrusted solely to the State Legislature."

Hochul's Democrats hold large majorities in both houses of he New York state legislature.

It's clear that the pandemic has occasioned a widespread effort at federal, state, and local levels of the executive branch trying to augment its power. It's like they don't give a hoot about the legislative branch or much glorified democracy.

2nd comment:

I hadn’t seen my children or grandchildren for almost a year due to lockdowns, and had missed too many milestones in their life. So I was determined to visit them for Christmas, even though they all live in Sydney where omicron was raging. I’m late 60’s, unvaccinated and have diabetes and asthma. I knew I would probably come into contact with omicron, but that was preferable to me rather than not seeing my family at Christmas. The upshot is I did get the virus ; some breathlessness on exertion was the first symptom, headache for 4 days, runny nose for about a week and fatigue and brain fog which lasted about ten days. I’ve had far worse colds than that. IMHO Omicron is not a danger unless you already have one foot in the grave and the other on a banana skin as my Grandad used to say. If you’re already that sick, the mildest of illnesses could tip you over the edge. One thing I will add- from the beginning I have not been afraid of the virus at all. I’ve watched the official stats and the panic and fear engendered in the population has been completely unwarranted and has been quite criminal IMO (as are mandatory vaccinations, and scapegoating the unvaccinated as well). This panic has added to people’s symptoms, possibly making many think they were indeed dying. I take whatever precautions are mandated, ie mask wearing, but not the vax. I will not be getting vaxxed, and all the evidence to date has only strengthened my resolve. I have natural immunity now, and that’s more than anyone can say for the multi vaccinated.

5th comment

Thank for putting this up Chris. Being in NZ I know many people who have taken the vax, they all seem ok and unaffected by it, however I have also talked to many people who know someone who has taken ill after taking the vax. There seems to be no interest in helping these people, doctors can not give exemptions for people not to take this vax. We have a choice at this stage, no vax we loose some of our freedoms, for example, I have had to give up karate which I hav done for many years, I can not go to the movies or dine in a cafe. Small sacrifice at this stage for my health, as the data is starting to show, The vaccine do NOT work. Cause our government have to blackmail us into taking this it makes me wonder what is the real reason for taking a vaccine that done not work, it is not even a vaccine. IS our government being paid for this massive experiment.

Two thirds of people who catch omicron have already had Covid, study finds

Two thirds of the people infected with omicron have previously already had the Covid virus, a major new study suggests. Imperial College London’s REACT-1 study sent out 100,000 Covid tests to people around England and asked them fill in a questionnaire.

One question is if the person taking the swab has had Covid before, and if this was confirmed with a test, or was just a suspected case. More than 3,500 people who tested positive between January 5 and January 20 answered this question, and almost two-thirds (64.5 per cent) said they had previously tested positive for coronavirus. A further 7.5 per cent said they suspected they had caught the virus previously, but had not received a positive test.

Prof Paul Elliott, director of the REACT programme and chairman in Epidemiology and Public Health Medicine at Imperial College London, said these can not be technically labelled as reinfections, because it is possible some cases are residual infections, where a person has simply tested positive twice for the same infection.

“They may have had a positive test for omicron, for all I know, in December, and then got tested by us,” he said. “We don't know when they had it, it could have been in May 2020, or last week.”

It has been known that omicron is more able to infect people who have previously had Covid-19 than other variants, due to an innate ability to dodge the immune system. As a result, reinfections have gone from accounting for a miniscule proportion of all infections, to a sizable chunk.

The latest UK Health Security Agency figures show 11 per cent of all cases were reinfections, but the new study indicates the true figure may be much higher.

So, what's the point of this article, to further frighten people?

We were all warned that we will most likely get omicron and that means we will all be immune to the more deadly variants. Maybe even immunity from future variants.
