This family is “haunted” by an Elsa doll that won’t let them go.

The Madonia family from Houston, Texas can’t seem to get rid of their Elsa doll from “Frozen.”

Emily Madonia wrote on Facebook that the doll she gave her daughter in 2013 kept returning home after several attempts of throwing it out.

“Mat threw it away weeks ago and then we found it inside on a wooden bench,” Madonia wrote in a Facebook post last Thursday.

“Okay…so we were weirded out and tightly wrapped it in its own garbage bag and put that garbage bag INSIDE another garbage bag filled with other garbage and put it in the bottom of our garbage can underneath a bunch of other bags of garbage and wheeled it to the curb and it was collected on garbage day.”

Even after this elaborate plan to throw the doll away, it reappeared. The Madonia family went out of town and came back to find Elsa hanging out in their backyard.

Madonia knows the doll that keeps showing up is the original and not a replacement thanks to some marker on it from her daughter’s coloring over the years.

The family initially thought the incident was some kind of prank. Now, they’re believing the doll is haunted.

“Most logical thinkers believe it’s a prank, but I don’t understand how or when it was done, especially because the garbage truck had taken it away,” Madonia told KPRC.

Then, hopefully as a final resort, the family decided to mail the doll to a friend in Minnesota without a return address.

Madonia wrote that as she was putting the doll in the box to mail it, the Elsa doll allegedly laughed for 30 seconds straight – something that has never happened before.

Elsa arrived at the home of Madonia’s friend Chris Hogan, who taped the doll to his Jeep.

“Both times the doll reappeared two weeks later…so I’m curious how it will go from here,” Madonia wrote.

She emphasized in her most recent Facebook post that she doesn’t think the creepy doll is just a prank.

“Either the doll is haunted or some crazy psychopath has dug the doll out of the garbage (that was already taken away) and broken into my house/property multiple times,” she wrote. “I am going to go with the haunted thing.”

Despite the creepiness of the haunted doll, Madonia is overall entertained by the situation.

“In the end, I’m just a mom and a violinist and a wife and a normal person who doesn’t want to be forever known as ‘the haunted doll lady,”’ she wrote. “I am fascinated by the unknown though and this whole experience has been pretty entertaining. But I am extremely happy the doll is not here anymore and I hope to God it stays that way.”

See? Here we have a repeatable paranormal occurrence and nobody's jumped on it.

Take whatever paranormal talisman that's bothering you and tape it to your Jeep. I like that. Points awarded there for creativity. No seance, no purging of lost souls. Off-roading, baby.

Awesome story, if true, I wished they would have documented the times they tried to dispose of the doll, like photographs showing the bag wrappings and disposal and subsequent finding of the doll again...

I bought a doll to a person who used to be on this forum. Since he collect paranormal things I wanted to use my psychic abilites to become attracted to a specific paranormal item he could have. The lady who sold rare stuff told she did not believe in the haunted item things. But i felt attracted to a doll. It was homemade. Something talked to me (in intuition, not in voice ) that i should buy the doll with wedding dress down on the chair and not that doll i looked at. I thought... OK. Why not?
I did. It was an original. Female porcelain doll with white wedding dress and dark, brown hair. She had red pen marks on the dress.

My cat died after that! I wanted to burn the doll. But it was a gift. Not mine. He could do whatever he wanted with it. He tells sometimes it seems it has moved. Do not know. I want him to burn it!

I moved away from the grief of my Beloved cat! Be careful with such things. Very careful!

The one who looks little... strange... is homemade. Much strange energy in it. I did not want to buy it even if it was for sale. It belonged to the store in spirit. But I think it was strange it seemed to telepathically speak to me ( the spirit of the doll, not the doll ) that I should take the doll in wedding dress. Many more dolls there too.

If the Elsa doll was original, then it could perfectly well be haunted. It is rude to throw away originals like that, the energy that the person who made it used, could haunt it for protection. Probably a protection spell.

I know people do not seem to respond to what I write much. It is ok. Just had this at heart.!

Well, in this case maybe it's the dolls. Creepy ! But I understand the attraction, not only to old collectibles but providing them some sort of personality. I do the same thing with old stuff I have but it's more a way to remember the relatives or story behind wherever it came from. Mostly just tools - believe me an old porcelain doll is a helluva lot innately scarier than my uncle's torque wrench!

I think sometimes we're just temporary caretakers of objects that'll be here long after we're dust.

So, I don't know if an English language podcats will be a barrier or not but you might be interested in this:

EDIT: and if I even suspected that some haunted old doll killed my cat I'd throw it's porcelain ass into the river one tiny little piece at a time - make it beg me to strap it to a 4x4 ....

This doll was bought on the same shop long time ago. The cat did not die or anything. All fine. Of course the cat reacted upon a spooky documentary about ghosts one time. And also had other paranormal reaction that I did not notice. But her children did and she did. But this was before the doll came into the house.

I figured out after my cat died I should rather break any curses from anything causing her death. First by sending the same energy back to those who gave it to us. I am very scared any accidents happening after i started sending back was my fault. Cause one took suicide, and much horror. So i stopped and want only blessing.

Anyway. I hope it was not my fault. And that any curses are removed from any items that could cause such horror.
But if the doll I bought is still moving I do not know if it is very safe.

The energy is more from the people who made/had the dolls, than of the dolls itself I think. Since the dolls is just artefacts.

I don't understand why an Elsa doll from Frozen would be "haunted"

The movie release date was 2013 and the doll was gifted to the little (presumably brand new) in 2013. The only one that had time to become attached to the doll would have been the little girl. She could not have been that attached to it if it ended up in the garbage. Why would an entity attach itself to something that trivial?

Was there a connection between the doll in the wedding dress and the one doll that was sending you messages, maybe? Did they come from the same home?

The 3rd doll creeped me out when I first looked at it. Then I realized it's because it reminds me of Donald Trump. lol

I cannot speak for others but, in my case, I get a little nervous about responding to your posts. Not because of anything you have done but, because I am afraid of accidentally offending you. I don't speak any other language besides English. Sometimes I don't fully understand your translation and I worry that I might embarrass you or myself by responding. That will change with time. In time we will get used to your posting style and jump right in there to respond so, please keep posting. We need the practice. :)

Oh ok!

Thank you for answering. The only time I am offended is when anyone try to convince me I am schizophrenic or start talking diagnosis just because of the paranormal experience. It haunts me night and day. It is like when people are rude or do something cruel and people start accusing the person for being narcissist or psychopath or something.
Schizophrenia is a diagnosis it takes years to evaluate by professionals. And even they might be wrong. The same with any other diagnosis. I am also offended by personal attack. If you do not understand my English, then please correct me. :)

The dolls was bought at the same place. The husband of the person who sell them used to collect all types of rare, collectable things. It is very doubtful they were bought at the same place from the collector. Some are originals and others are copies.

English Tests Online | EasyEnglish

I test my English here. Only correct answer so far. It must be the nervousness driving the letters and sentence into disharmony.

Hope the Elsa story is true. This is also a possible true story. Haunting moment ventriloquist doll 'comes to life' caught on camera by antique collection
It is so boring with all the lies out there blinding the truth. It is possible to make the body a great lie detector. That would be best solution to know if the stories about the dolls are lies or truth.

I have PTSD and suffer fight or flight instinct all the time. Never safe. When i try to read a book and do something challenging for the brain the words attack me " You are stupid, idiot. Do you use diapers? ... " And such. I take Taurin, Lecitin and B12 and much protein and c-vitamins and stopped drinking coffee.. It helps much. It is more the concentration. I can not read long text. Need to escape. Anxious-Scared. Hurt in heart. But I do not mind anyone challenging me or correcting me :) On this web page it is very easly explained " Don't overthink it: letting your brain work through trauma with EMDR
"
However, Shapiro says, general life experiences, like being bullied, humiliated or witnessing fights between parents, can cause more post-traumatic symptoms than major trauma.

“Various of these experiences can have the same impact as major trauma, get stuck in the brain, continue to cause anxiety and feelings like ‘I’m not good enough, I’m not safe, I’m not in control’ and that can hamper the person’s abilities for the next 30 years,” she says."

It was very good of you to be sceptical about the doll Elsa. Hope there will come more information to explain if it was true or false. :)

Ok kbarannikova. You woke up my curiosity. There is dolls you can have that is perfectly safe. And even better - the blessing of the doll will even give you the desired job, if you want another one.

Annabelle has been blessed too. No need to worry. She is perfectly safe too. But I do not think she became the doll of wishes.
Dolls have different quests in life.

And as written before. It is the spirit and the energy people or other gives it that matter. Not the doll itself.

Same music. I have not listened to it much, but absolutely recommended. I believe telepathy is included. Any subliminal must be taken on own responsibility and trust.

Thank you for sharing. Very creepy. There could be reasonable explanation on some of them. Number 1 did not seem fake. On barbie they could have placed a robot inside. On number 4 she could have taken the arm on the carpet and since the arm was not very well placed, it just fell down again. Of course only theories.
Have any here any camera to put on their dolls to test out?

Ok! I shall do it. Tomorrow I go and buy a spy camera with night vision, and then use my psychic abilities to find the right doll or other item worth the time and effort, place it on a nice place and see if it moves.

Spooky. never done that before. At least it would prove some of the youtube dolls really move. Or even Elsa
