They're very dangerous to humans.

A good friend took an African Safari (photographic not hunting) and was told repeatedly that hippos are the #1 killer and you have to be extremely careful. I also heard they fart through their mouth, which, if true, definitely gives me two good reasons to avoid them.

The flying ones aren't a problem though

Found these. We used to go over to Danbury, CT on Sunday mornings on our motorcycles. A buddy and I would sit up near the highway overpass & smoke a doob while watching the freak show, get a big breakfast at the dairy bar and ride all day.
