OK just realised lol. There is a members button at the top that shows it. I often have trouble seeing what is right in front of me! Looks like David has joined

Ignorance isn’t bliss!
When I think of all the reasons Gene has given for his woes I’m struck with this thought.If Gene had been an innocent victim of his BIL schemes he could of shown all the evidence about his BIL’S crimes.He would be able to legitimately show facts and figures about how he was fleeced like the other victims and thus garner genuine sympathy and support from his listeners.The fact that he has painted his BIL and his family as the real victims tells me all I need to know about Gene.

David, when you were on the Paracast I knew I found the right place to try and get some semblance of the truth. Your interview with the guy (I have forgotten his name) who was supposedly taken onto a space craft by extraterrestrials was a classic.

Understood, and always good to 'see' you. There was something thrilling to me discovering the Paracast back in 2007. I had never heard anyone as thoughtful as yourself ask the kind of questions you were asking. I appreciated it; I still appreciate it. Sometimes I go back and listen to old Paracast shows to hear one or another observation of yours I found striking (one of my favorites is the comments about how humans seem prone (if not locked int0) binary thinking). And when you do the rare turn up on other shows, I certainly listen.
That said I appreciate you wanting to keep your distance. I don't know if it's the nature of "the field" itself or the people it attracts - or both - but it seems corrosive somehow, perhaps especially to those inclined toward serious inquiry. DB Donlon, another thoughtful and eloquent person, comes to mind as someone else who once engaged, and now keeps his distance.
Could we apply Hunter S. Thompson's quote on the TV industry to the "paranormal field" just as easily?

And yet for myself I'm still intrigued by the honest stories of everyday people, and the intelligent speculation some bring to bear on the topics.

Jim Sparks, someone who read all the popular UFO lore of the day, and made up a ridiculous story containing not one ounce of truth. Aliens, time travelers, alien alphabets, and don't forget, he claims this happened every night FOR YEARS (when did he ever sleep?), and they took his semen at the end of each session.
