I was discussing this with a friend earlier and wanted to hear your thoughts and opinions about what these two words mean to you, without googling it or looking up the dictionary lol...
Greatness and Goodness...
If someone came up to you and said; "this man was a great man", what would that mean to you?...
In the same way, if someone said; "this man was a good man", what would that mean to you?...
For me personally, if someone said to me; "this was a great man", I would promptly respond asking; "what did he do to deserve such greatness?"...Also if someone said said to me; "this was a good man", I would probably not respond too promptly because I would consider that as implying that he has a good heart and cares about others, a kind man full of goodness...
To me I think greatness implies works and deeds accomplished whilst goodness implies the nature of his heart and being...What do you think?...
