Well, the question was about 'how did I react to encountering a UFO ?'

I did not meet any occupants but had a low level close range sighting when I was a kid. Fear. My overriding reaction was Fear. I had something so totally (pardon the expression) alien to me I simply couldn't process it. No doubt had I not been in the back of a vehicle I would have run away.

I've had an unusual history that I seldom discuss, for various reasons. To me, my experiences are simply parts of my life, needing no external validation since I lived them firsthand. These experiences didn't yield many fantastic revelations or insights, only a few sparse moments of clarity. In the end, every experience I've had seems to revolve around waking up in bed afterward. I do seek answers, but I'm open to a range of possibilities. Whether it's recurring dreams, unresolved psychological issues, or even extraterrestrial encounters, I'm more interested in finding the truth than in confirming any particular explanation.

Unfortunately for me the truth of that encounter was anything but extraterrestrial but the pure fight or flight reaction was 100% genuine.
I can see how people can be so startled they do not immediately register much and yet during that episode there were images that were permanently seared into my memory in detail. Weird.

This was shortly after The UFO Incident (1975) was first aired. When I go back to the local newspaper archives to search for reports from that era it's constantly in the TV listings in endless repeats. I was already interested in all sorts of things like UFOs, cryptids and ghosts courtesy of my colorful mom but that movie scared the snot out of me. I really thought they might come to get me out of my bed at night.

Looks hokey now. You want to listen to something that actually is scary then track down the tapes from Barney Hill's hypnosis session. That'll put you off your feed - he was obviously severely traumatized.

I've heard those tapes before , yeah, the man was terrified during the session, crying , screaming..

I know till this day, we don't have that golden apple proof we need. But I heard his session tapes. Whatever his deal is or isn't , he wasn't faking ..

I think it is possible that the Hills had a real UFO experience, and then under the influence of hypnosis confabulated more of the story...
I think this is the craft that they encountered. It has the wings at the sides, and probably the windows in the front, too. Picture taken in 1967.

Hey bro,That’s an interesting perspective on the Hills' UFO encounter. It's true that sometimes, under hypnosis, people might fill in gaps with additional details. And the photo you mentioned does seem to match the descriptions! In the world of ufology, it's crucial to consider all angles, even those that might seem less concrete. Look at Whitley Strieber, Travis Walton, and Barney Hill—all had extraordinary experiences and a penchant for science fiction writing. While this doesn't discredit their accounts, it adds another layer to their stories that we can't ignore.Sometimes, in the quest for understanding, it's easy to overlook subtle details that could offer more insight. After all, a thorough investigation leaves no stone unturned, even if that stone seems a bit out of place at first glance.Cheers to exploring all possibilities!

I'd like to add to this , because it's a lesser known fact , Barny hills IQ was reported to be around 160. I don't know why these kinds of metrics matter to me, but it adds dimension to the case profile..

Has anyone tried hypnosis to remember events that’s happened to you? Is it really works , and how it Is work ? How your memory remember this event? Like a video or picture or flash back ? How ?

I told you my react is that I came back to sleep, I didn't know what to do with them.

I looked at the area between his eyebrows. he don't have eyebrows, you know what I mean. i saw it wrinkled so I thought he was very, very old, like he live for hundreds years . I looked at his eyes and I couldn't look anywhere else. It was as if he had control over my desires or my thoughts or my nerves. I could not look anywhere else. There was also a short guy wearing a very dark brown cloak with a hat like you see in Harry Potter. His face was dark shadow. I couldn't see his face. One was in the right the other in the left, l felt like the room was white and somewhat bright. I felt like the room was empty and there was no one in it but the 3 of us, I go back to sleep.

all of this happened in seconds

next morning i wake up and didnt believe what happen ,week later I felt nauseous and I gained weight quickly.

nexts months I noticed that My way of thinking about religious matters had changed a lot. I no longer cared about some things that I used to care about a lot. Have you ever had such things happen to you? I became arrogant and impulsive to try adventures and risks. I felt a change in some things that I used to care about somehow. I had been conservative about some things for a long time, but I changed in a short period of time.

My taste in general has changed in some things. Have you had any such changes?

The question is, I didn’t know what is happen ? how did they come and ? how did they take me and when I did come back and what they did do all of this I don’t remember ?

The changes that incident generated took many years to manifest, mostly in the form of skepticism. My older brother was driving the van we were in when we saw this thing and he teased me endlessly about it for years and years and frankly, built up real resentment in me for it. I don't like being teased or lied to and he did both in spades.

I asked myself the same thing you did: did this really happen ? If so what exactly happened ? Often there is a difference between perception and reality.

What I learned from that and subsequent episodes is to carefully listen to what someone has to say - they can be telling you the literal truth and you might miss something if you are too quick to react one way or another. I also learned that anybody, even people you love and trust, can completely bullshit you.

In the past when something odd has happened that I wondered about I tried to quantify it - I stuck a camera in one part of the house. Unfortunately it was not revealing of anything except I like Wyze cameras. If you are worried something is happening while you sleep that might be a way to literally have a look.

I had someone attempt to hypnotize me once with no effect. Never tried it again. Meditation can accomplish a similar result I think.

Human memory is very slippery and I caution against literal interpretation of recovered memories.

Hypnosis is indeed a captivating subject, often surrounded by misconceptions. One prevalent myth is that only those with weak minds can be hypnotized. However, research debunks this notion, showing that hypnosis relies more on a psychological rapport between the hypnotist and the subject.

Consider this: even someone initially skeptical about hypnosis can still be influenced under the right conditions.

For instance, while a random clinical therapist or a mentalist like "Mental Magic Mike" might struggle to hypnotize you, Marilyn Monroe could effortlessly sway you with her charm. The core of hypnosis lies in this very dynamic—establishing a connection that makes you more receptive to suggestions.

So, it's less about weakness and more about the strength of the psychological bond.

I know till this day, we don't have that golden apple proof we need.

We have golden apple proof we need. I've shown it 1/2 dozen times, but it keeps on falling on deaf ears of non-scientifically educated people who need to get it between their ears that science is not opinion based.

Mark Rodeghier's graph above is the crown jewel of this list of papers. You can find it on the page 91 of the "UFO Reports Involving Vehicle Interference".

This graph was refereed to into at least 3 of the above papers and by Petter Sturrock, Stanford Univ. physics professor in his book "UFO Enigma".

This graph shows 441 cases of care engine stalling (X-axis) vs distance from UFO (Y-axis). Reports span from 1909 to 1981 and come from 7 countries: US, England, France, Argentina, Spain, Brazil, Australia.

This is as close as UFO forensics will ever come to a SCIENTIFIC PROOF THAT UFOs are here. Why?

This graph closely matches inverse power law. Inverse power defines propagation of all the electro-magnetic fields. How are these 441 witnesses, from 7 countries and 3 continents, who lived from 1909 to 1981 going to agree among themselves which distance is each one going to quote in their testimonies. In other words, witnesses are completely independent from each other.

Because of absolute witness independence and close match with inverse power law this evidence is completely unrefutably.

Hey Bro! Thanks for sharing that graph—it’s really interesting stuff, and I can see why it got you excited. It’s not every day you come across something like this that really makes you stop and think, right? So, about that graph: It shows the number of times cars stalled as people got closer to a UFO, which sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. And you’re right, the fact that this data comes from all over the world and across many years makes it pretty compelling. A Few Thoughts the Pattern: The idea that the incidents decrease as you get further from the UFO is super intriguing. It lines up with how things like electromagnetic fields work—they get weaker as you move away. So, if UFOs are somehow affecting car engines, this is exactly the kind of pattern you’d expect to see.Different People, Similar Stories: It’s pretty cool that these reports come from so many different people across different times and places. It’s hard to imagine all these folks coordinating their stories, so it definitely makes you wonder if there’s something more to it.What It Means: While this graph shows something interesting, we should be careful about jumping straight to “proof.” Science is all about testing and retesting to make sure we’re not missing anything. This graph is a great starting point for asking more questions and doing more research. What’s Next?

At the end of the day, this graph adds to the mystery in a big way, but it doesn’t close the case. It’s like finding a clue in a detective story—it’s super important, but there’s still more to figure out. Maybe with more digging and more data, we’ll get closer to understanding what’s really going on.

Seriously though, I can't deny the possibility—it’s stuff like this that keeps the conversation going, and who knows? This could very well be exactly what occured brother. You raise if not the golden apple itself , you have given us the closest thing to it I've ever seen.. Thank you brother.

Well you were the first ever, apart from late @Thomas R Morrison, who picked up on all the nuances. Majority of people can't even grasp how much independent and uncorrelated data points were from each other in this research. Thing is paper was published back in 1980's and nobody continued with exercise. One can be 100% sure if data was collected for another 40 years, till today that graph would look the same. So, having out-of-the sample data confirming in-the-sample data would pretty nail it down and once far all settle it as not speculative any more.

problem is there is no funding for this type of thorough research, so its all low-braw talk.

This sample was x441 data points with say 2% of outliers, and I'm saying that because Einstein's general relativity was proven with a sample of 7 data-points of which one was outlier, so it was 14% outliers. So its fair to say that general relativity, which was at a time equally controversial, was accepted with lower standard of proof that UFOs in this case.
