How I remembering the meeting with ufos?

Well you were the first ever, apart from late @Thomas R Morrison, who picked up on all the nuances. Majority of people can't even grasp how much independent and uncorrelated data points were from each other in this research. Thing is paper was published back in 1980's and nobody continued with exercise. One can be 100% sure if data was collected for another 40 years, till today that graph would look the same. So, having out-of-the sample data confirming in-the-sample data would pretty nail it down and once far all settle it as not speculative any more.

problem is there is no funding for this type of thorough research, so its all low-braw talk.

This sample was x441 data points with say 2% of outliers, and I'm saying that because Einstein's general relativity was proven with a sample of 7 data-points of which one was outlier, so it was 14% outliers. So its fair to say that general relativity, which was at a time equally controversial, was accepted with lower standard of proof that UFOs in this case.
Thomas.. I still think about him almost every day, It's one of the main reasons I hadn't posted as much in the science forums. He added a dynamic to our science discussions and actually helped my mind get to where it is now.. He was a brilliant guy. His absence is felt..

I wouldn't say I think about him every day, but I do miss his presence and intensity.

In the times when I was around, him and I would have long drawn out scientific debate in pm. See , I used to like to debate and argue a lot, this was a trait Thomas and I shared. Those discussions. Where literally fundimental to large portions of my understanding of much of physics .. he taught me more than probably any other individual person, he imparted to me via discussion, the entire context of a college education. He did this because I think he honestly liked to tech.. but , I wouldnt bring all this up, but , to not bring it up also seems to not credit Thomas properly.. he was absolutely fundimental in a lot of my comprehension of advanced physics today.

Fellers, the TRM admiration society is ... admirable ... but I believe @Yasa is new and was asking about hypnosis and our reactions to encounters, from the sounds of it maybe those of the third kind.
As I've touched on before, my journey through life's experiences has often led me to question the nature of reality itself.

This curiosity has undoubtedly set me on a path of searching for answers—a journey that, after decades of rigorous study and comprehension of various scientific disciplines, has only deepened my belief that there is far more to our universe than what we can perceive with our limited senses.

The concept of "sense" is typically associated with sensation and emotion, but it also conveys a deeper meaning—an understanding, a grasp of the underlying truths that shape our reality.

When we consider the possibility of beings or life forms that surpass our intelligence, it becomes clear that evading our detection would likely be among the simplest of their achievements.

Traveling vast distances across space, or perhaps even traversing parallel dimensions or alternate timelines, would be feats of a much higher order—yet still within the realm of possibility for such advanced entities. This raises profound questions about the limitations of human perception and the potential existence of realities far beyond our current understanding.

What if our sensory limitations are merely the tip of the iceberg? What if, in our quest to understand the cosmos, we are only scratching the surface of a much more complex and interconnected multiverse?

These are the questions that drive my continued exploration and contemplation, pushing the boundaries of what we consider possible. In light of this, I invite others to ponder the implications of such possibilities.

Could it be that our search for extraterrestrial intelligence is hindered not by their absence, but by our own inability to perceive them? And if so, what new methods or perspectives might we need to adopt to truly comprehend the vastness of existence?

I don’t understand can you explain more what do you mean?
I'm not speaking for Todd here, but he's right about skeptics.. The true skeptics, Tend to focus only on solid empirical evidence. There is a lack of such evidence. I believe what Todd means, is skeptics will scrutenize hypnosis as unfounded invalid psuedoscience. However , Skeptics are a double edged sword, A skeptics opinion isn't worth any more than anyone else's. He just means you will run into those kinds of people, that will scrutenize the idea of hypnosis. But that would only matter if you cared what some skeptic thought.

The changes that incident generated took many years to manifest, mostly in the form of skepticism. My older brother was driving the van we were in when we saw this thing and he teased me endlessly about it for years and years and frankly, built up real resentment in me for it. I don't like being teased or lied to and he did both in spades.

I asked myself the same thing you did: did this really happen ? If so what exactly happened ? Often there is a difference between perception and reality.

What I learned from that and subsequent episodes is to carefully listen to what someone has to say - they can be telling you the literal truth and you might miss something if you are too quick to react one way or another. I also learned that anybody, even people you love and trust, can completely bullshit you.

In the past when something odd has happened that I wondered about I tried to quantify it - I stuck a camera in one part of the house. Unfortunately it was not revealing of anything except I like Wyze cameras. If you are worried something is happening while you sleep that might be a way to literally have a look.

So you've seen UFO?

true skeptics

I think that phrase is a misnomer. There are the Believers who accept as gospel everything they see or hear and have not a shred of critical thinking in their possession. Normal human behavior - just look at politics and religion. The polar opposite of that are the Disbelievers - also look at politics and religion. They are not open to new ideas and in fact, want to shut them down and go to great lengths to do so. Like Believers, the things you hear are absurd at times.

I describe myself as skeptical but my mind is perfectly open to new ideas. Speaking as a man who spent more than three decades showing up somewhere asking 'OK, what's the problem ?' I can say with conviction that you must listen to what someone has to say, you have to let them say their piece - even if you already know what the answer is. Often they are handing you valuable information and on days when you aren't listening or are cranky or in a hurry or just don't believe or respect them and you ignore that it's always to your own detriment.

Then there's the really silly **** that I love that sort of proves the point. While visiting my elderly aunt in a nursing home she told me about a trip to New York City for the World's Fair. I have her souvenirs so I know she went. She really never went far from the family farm her whole life and this was a huge deal, especially in that era. She went on quite a while about a horse elevator but wasn't making much sense. I've spent quite a lot of time in NYC and had buggy rides through the Park, I don't remember any elevators.

Then one day 20+ years after she passed I saw an article in the newspaper that Central Park had indeed shut down it's horse elevator. No ****.

So, if you want to tell me about seeing a one eyed one horned flying purple people eater I'll listen. I'd be evaluating you not necessarily what you are saying at that point but I'd hear you out and likely as not draw no conclusions. You never know about horse elevators.

So you've seen UFO?
Yes, I have gone on at length about it in other threads, even over at The Paracast.

Not a fast story but here goes.. It was the summer of '75 or '76 so I was either 11 or 12 at the time. I was in the back of my brother's van which was a '74 Plymouth Tradesman all kitted out as his love machine with the carpets, bed, all that in back. His girlfriend was in the passenger seat and I was sitting on the bed in back. I could see pretty well out the windshield but my only views out the sides were small plexiglass tinted vanity windows maybe a foot in diameter.

We were waiting to turn onto a larger road from a residential neighborhood when both of them in front pointed out what I described as a 'fluroescent tube with a red light at the end' Very low, just above the treetops. That side of the road is undeveloped wetlands. It seemed to parallel us as we went into town. I got one more really good look at it through those vanity windows.

That view I remember clearly. I saw rows and rows of lights, which struck me as odd. At the time I had a toy Goodyear blimp that looked just like that, you could change the message it scrolled with plastic inserts. Never forgot that.

It scared the crap out of me and my older brother took great delight in making sure that continued as long as possible. Shortly after that he moved out to Wisconsin and one day I get a long letter he wrote. I no longer have it and regret whatever I did with it. Bear in mind this isn't more than a year after we saw that thing and there was a huge amount of family turmoil at that time, mostly involving my brother. He made up a huge story about seeing the exact same craft again and this time it hit him with light, he had lost time. Very, very detailed. Naturally I believed it.

What he had not expected was that I contacted MUFON and Ted Bloecher who in turn called an investigator out in Wisconsin who repeatedly called my brother trying to get an interview. Of course he never gave it, he made all of it up and later admitted it grudgingly. To this day I am not laughing about that - someone I trusted and loved lied to me so convincingly for a long time for no purpose other than torturing me. He was having a big joke. Between that and The UFO Incident I was terrified something would come in to grab me at night. Made me sick and still does.

Much, much later I found that it was likely an advertising blimp. Not Goodyear, but newspaper archives reveal that they were active in the area at that time. I also recall a deputy sheriff saying that to my mom - she was a waitress and knew all the cops.

This is one of those cases where my memory really did record an excellent image and as an adult who is no longer afraid I have gone back many times to recall what I can and it's spotty. What I do recall is that one image where I saw rows of small lights and I honestly said to myself 'that does not look very extraterrestrial' There must've been a reason my brain snapped that pic and remembered the toy, but Fear and deliberate manipulation kept a more rational explanation away for a long time.

I also had someone I knew a long time be revealed as a complete bullshit artist - Stolen Valor. He had an incredibly detailed account of his combat service in Vietnam that later turned out to be utterly fake.

So call that birth of a skeptic. Even people you know and love will lie to you for their own purposes. What did Deep Throat tell Agent Mulder? Trust No One. I'll take that a step further and take a phrase prom Gorbachev - trust but verify.

Plymouth Tradesman vanity window:

to a smaller extent I had a similar experience recently, there was an UFO over a city in Brazil, shot from many different angles. I was 100% sure it was UFO until I found a video in which it was clear that it was just a big blimps.

Yup, that's the van. Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge all fall under the Chrysler pentagram and I was looking out those tiny windows shaped like that. I was a scared kid getting a not-the-best look at something really extraordinary. Even a blimp was unusual, if known.

Frankly if I wanted to try hypnosis or any other technique to recall memories it would be to bring more clarity to that incident.

Memory recall might be useful to some degree on this topic the way it is in other arenas like criminal investigations, and eyewitness testimony has certainly got people locked up. Sometimes innocent ones too, which should give us pause about relying too much on memory.

Unfortunately when we're talking about this topic what is required to get the general public to actually pay serious attention to it requires way more than anecdotal accounts and witness testimony no matter who or how many saw what or where.

But, as a way to rationalize or cope something that happened to you it is (or at least was) a medically acceptable technique which is why Dr. Benjamin Simon used it on Barney Hill. Prior to that he'd been using it on veterans suffering from what we now call PTSD. I believe even Dr. Simon warned against literally interpreting what came out of those sessions - been a while since I read Interrupted Journey but it's in there.

I don’t matter about skeptic, it’s true i know what I saw

I am in other country , so I wondered how they came and found me at home with such precision. There is no coincidence in this matter.
I traveled to usa, and at one of the points I passed through, there were very large inspection devices. When I passed through, I sign on a paper and did not read what was on it.
Well, the answer is very simple when you search about it. Didn't rumors spread about the agreement that was signed between the Grays and group of people and in Area 51 that was maybe the first base, exchanging technologies and so on in exchange for kidnapping people, gold and livestock?
I have heard about this a lot. There is no smoke except from the fire.….whether it’s true or not
From here, I conclude that I may have put my home address at the American embassy, and you know that with technology, everything is connected. thats why they found my home, and This huge device is to measure details about our bodies, and of course maybe extra info i don’t know about it and sending details to ufo, such as aura and so on, and not just for security.
Perhaps from here they knew my location. So how did they know that I was in a city, a house, a street with such precision?

and Yes i remembering, I was studying at my university and lived in another city, so they did not come in that time becuse there is no info about my location and connected to them. They came during the Corona events, when I had to return home.

Please, if my words are dangerous, I will delete them. I feel a kind of fear while writing to you.

I get what you are asking for now, and I know you are in another county, it was an easy deduction, and your question you raise is a valid and important one, that I have a lot of theories about .. right now I am in another state away from home at a large family function, later today , I will compile a list of my theories on how they locate people. If you are interested..

Your words are fine , and you are welcome and safe here , we are all experienced in speaking to people from all over the earth here. You have nothing to worry about .

of course but can we reach with other methods or you will put it here your theories and if you could send me links to reads about it of course books too I well be greatfull too

Well, we should all be skeptical and realize that debunkers can actually be useful to strip away some of the misidentifications and outright hoaxes that are so prevalent. Some skeptics and debunkers are extremely close-minded and biased, and refuse to accept anything other than physical evidence. And that's how science should work, always finishing last. Even now there are endless scientific debates about the Big Bang, dark matter, particle theory, time, etc. Hopefully there will be evidence for skeptics and scientists eventually. Then we can chuckle at them, having known UFOs were real all along...

Hey Yasa, So, here's a fun idea about how aliens might be tracking people.

Imagine this: their technology is so advanced that they’ve cracked the secrets of the universe itself.

Picture them not just zipping around the skies, but actually playing with time and space like it’s a game of chess! You know how we use satellites to keep an eye on things with GPS?

Well, these extraterrestrial geniuses might be using something way beyond that. They could be manipulating time—like taking a quick detour through the future or past—because, at their speeds, time itself slows down for them. It's like they're living in their own cosmic slow-motion movie! And as they fly at those incredible speeds, they're not just cruising around; they’re collecting data with such precision that they know where everything is, right down to the atoms. It’s like they’ve got the universe’s most advanced “Where’s Waldo?” game, but instead of Waldo, they’re finding people!

Their tech might even allow them to map out entire areas instantly, knowing exactly where all the living beings are, maybe by picking up on the tiniest of signals—like how our satellites can detect a phone from miles away, but way cooler.

So, in short, these aliens might be so advanced that what looks like a quick flyby to us could actually be them taking their sweet time, gathering all the data they need in a blink. It’s like they’ve turned the universe into their playground, and we’re just trying to keep up ! What do you think?
