Yeah well, I am armed to the teeth and don't talk bullshit like that or wave guns around anywhere but my range. Those that do are extremists and that's where you get idiots toting weapons in places they shouldn't - like Kyle Rittenhouse. Or others that want to open carry firearms to 'patrol' and so forth. Individuals with a misguided interpretation of self-imposed justice killed Ahmaud Arbery. Pure vigilantism; that was a lynching.

Those truckers have already been branded Nazis and nutcases and so forth. In the States they'd just be labeled Trump supporters. I've seen local convoys of supporters waving flags and so forth. They were not looked upon fondly for more practical reasons. Screwed up traffic, caused a few accidents, fist fights. Didn't fix anything.



So you are expecting a real armed insurrection? You're not alone, there are thousands of nutcases hoarding ammo and freeze dried water as we speak.

The alternative I am hoping for happened in Virginia. The weight of their own bullshit collapsed the Democrat's Woke position. It'll happen again in the mid term elections. If Trump runs again we'll have more demagoguery and exactly what you suggested will be given a breath of life. They run a GOP candidate that ain't him - even a rock with a name scrawled on it - they'll win.

My own Premiere tried to tell the world through the press that the protesters attacked the RCMP. Even the Mounties stepped forward and said that it was not true. Things are going smoothly and progressing fantastically. Mandates are being lifted. Discussions are being had and agreements reached. All without violence. All without brutality.

I know you are tired, my friend. Tired of the pandemic tired of having to put everything on hold in your life and your family and friends life.

Your not reading the truth. For the first time in the history of the world, everything is at your fingertips. Dig deep and check around. Don't accept what is being told to you by well known liars as they only answer. Yes, like any protest there are those that overstep and they were corrected immediately.

I'm saying that there is such a thing as standing up for your rights. Biden and Trump need to be tossed and you and yours can do that. You have been lied to and cheated on and you are not alone. Why should you stand by idle and let them continue to assault your intelligence. You did not vote for this. Why accept it?

Practically every upcoming generation whinges about how their parents made a mess of the world and now they are expected to clean it up. I got news for you and everyone out there with kids, they can't fix it.

They were raised and rightly so, as carefree and wanted for nothing. Every parent wants their kids to have what they didn't. But now we have this society that only care about designer labels and selfies. They don't know what's coming or what to do to stop it.

They need us.

I get my news via apps and like to read Al Jazeera English, BBC News, AP News and the good old New York Post. Always good to have a slightly different perspective. When I was finishing my degree I wrote umpteen million papers on all sorts of topics all with 'scholarly' references; academic papers, peer reviewed journals, non-fiction publications, not Wiki or some blog. Just saying that I do absorb information from many different sources and keep that in mind. Even at that authors can infuse their own personal bias so it's best to have multiple sources. Often something I see here on AE makes me go digging for something I wouldn't have otherwise. Short of an unlikely tsunami warning for New York I usually take a wait-and-see approach to any news item.

Saw an interview on FOX last night with a Canadian trucker. Not involved in the protest at all but stating that he lost 2/3 of his business because he is unvaccinated. When asked why he didn't just get the shots the answer wasn't direct, more a collection of complaints about misinformation. I feel for the man and actually agree with him. I bet his answer is the same as mine and wish he would have just spit it out - I don't believe I needed the goddamned shots in the first place and distrust what I am being told because the entire topic has become politically weaponized.

Ahhh. That's better, got it out. No doubt someone will enlighten me about science and my wrongness. Thing is, I am a deadly practical man and have my own life to conduct. Right now for my wife and I because of the area we live in and the situation we are in we felt that we don't have a choice but to get the shots and the booster and probably whatever the hell else it is they want to jab in me. Opinions are not going to change my immediate practical reality. The shots were absolutely nothing to me, an inconvenience. I am not worried about lingering effects either from the vaccines or from covid itself. I think we've all gone a bit too nuts over that and turned them both into more than they actually are - all to the advantage of those who wish to dictate control over us.

As for protests - consider your audience. We've had nothing but violence and protests and cities being overrun and the goddamned Capitol building stormed. Personally, I'm sick of it all. I think those Canadian truckers are doing something very bold and agree with them but can't help but flinch at the thought of what it would like here on a much larger scale.

I knew things were changing when cameras were installed at every stop light. When I heard ads and stories that we should consider implants in our bodies I knew we were doomed.

You won’t need to carry identification or physical money. Just get your chip scanned. Now of course the government powers “demand” that you get Covid shots. I hate thinking like this but what if there is more going on with these shots than prevention of the Covid virus. I guess I think this way because I don’t trust any politician local, state or federal. You can throw in corporations as well.

The Israeli government has stated that the citizens will need a fourth Covid shot to combat the virus. It doesn’t take a PhD to figure that more shots are around the bend. Ever American CDC is waffling about just what will be needed in the future. That certainly doesn’t make me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Covid doesn't affect my life anymore...I got the one shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine in April last year and was sick with a mild form of covid last month but that's it, I don't wear masks anymore and haven't for some time now...

We refuse to be tested. Symptoms of...what ever it is are mild.
I have had colds more problematic.
My doc earlier asked or more insisted I get a booster...I said I am done with the Covid Circus. Though I never fully joined....
We got the Johnson & Johnson shot back in May last year and I wore the mask when I was given no choice...like to see my doc for diabetic blood-work.
Now it is over for me...unless some other virus comes along that is 10 times what Covid was.
