Leaked Video Allegedly Shows UFO From RCMP Dashcam in Manitoba

In 2011, a Canadian police officer reported seeing “an unidentified bright yellow and orange light” over Selkirk, Manitoba, and said they captured it on video. VICE World News has obtained dashcam footage.

Leaked by a government source with knowledge of the incident, the 55-second video was purportedly captured by a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) cruiser’s dashcam early on April 24, 2011 in Selkirk, Manitoba. The recording simply shows the hood of a vehicle, a town, and a lighted object traversing a dark sky.

In a publicly available report, the police officer described seeing “an unidentified bright yellow and orange light… and stated this was not an aircraft.” While it may have an ordinary explanation, the sighting still prompted the RCMP officer to call air traffic controllers in Winnipeg, about 40 km away, who then reviewed radar data before sending a “vital intelligence” report to Canadian air force personnel with NORAD, the joint Canada-U.S. defence group.

Air traffic controllers also notified the federal transportation department, which published the short public report in CADORS, a government aviation incident database that contains dozens of UFO accounts from professional pilots and the Canadian military. CADORS is operated by Transport Canada, where VICE World News’ source worked at the time of the 2011 case.

@Dejan Corovic were you mentioning colour variations of UFOs in the context of a sighting like this one?...

Generally speaking, yes.

But colours in that video are not clearly discernible. My information only comes from reading and counting orange (and other colours) lights in witness testimonials. So, since this was just reading stuff, I don't know how orange the orange needs to be. UFO lights that I've seen in various videos can be very saturated when blue, green or red. This one looks to me more like white?

In this policeman's video camera sensor is heavily saturated by the reflections of the sodium vapour street lights. So, all true colour rendition is thrown out of the window.

Another thing, all aeroplanes flying at night by law must have one green and one red light on wingtips. That is so that one can discern weather aircraft is flying towards or away from him. So if this was aeroplane it was illegal.

Its a bit disappointing that object flew in a straight line, because if it zig-zagged a little bit we'll know for sure it wasn't a plane.

This is to me a very good probably UFO video:

I left scorching comments in the comments section on other guy claiming this this is just an aeroplane. I guess, by the standards of the OP video this would count as orange lights.

Thats a good night-time video of a UFO, some details are shown towards the end of the video which clearly (to me) does not represent a terrestrial aeroplane...

If you do any kind of statistics on UFO sightings, you will see that about 50% of the time UFO witnesses say that there were light around the rim. On flying UFOs (not landed) these lights keep changing colours, like red-green-blue etc. Now most of types of UFOs are round. When one puts these two observations together one would expect those rim lights to reduce in size and brightness as they go around the craft's rim. And that's exactly what we see in this video. The middle light is the brightest and other lights are proportionally smaller and dimmer further from the centre they are. That disposition of lights strongly suggests that this flying object was circular.

Another big thing with this one is that aeroplanes by law must have red and green light on wingtips and these are completely missing. If this was an aeroplane it would be completely illegal and heavily fined to the boot.
