From hearing a few random podcasts over the years Paulides claims that some of the very small children have described being taken and sometimes returned by Sasquatch. One of the children was found in a place a small child couldn't possibly get to.

Check out this screen shot from my PC just now. I remembered Paulides had to resign as a police officer and when I searched for it and used AI Search Assist look what it came up with.

That's pretty funny. There are some interesting cases in there, for sure. He seems to work them for all they are worth, but it's useful to follow up and see what information is out there from less sensationalist sources. I think he has cooked up a whole conspiracy theory involving the National Park Service, Forest Service, and other agencies who he claims have been "stonewalling" him. I can see why they would not want to tell him anything, and knowing a bit about how those agencies work, I have little doubt about the existence of some sort of unofficial (unwritten) policy about not giving him any information. I also know from experience that scaring tourists is really, really bad for business.

A while ago while randomly surfing I came across two shows about the wildlife around Chernobyl. Both shows went to the same bridge and pointed out some minor oddity with some of the large fish. One was some random presenter, the other was Jeremy Wade. He made it so much more dramatic, made it seem as if there were something truly strange going on with perhaps some personal danger for him in contrast to the young woman strolling casually by the river. Two identical topics, same location.

A friend told me that while hiking in a state park one day he caught making content for Survivorman that he later went and looked up. Les made it look like he was out in the howling wilderness yet in reality he was maybe twenty feet of a big carriage trail with people all over the place.

Paulides channels too much dramatic presentation and innuendo to seem credible to me. I wouldn't doubt the origin of some of the stories but I do doubt his spin. If I want 'creepy **** in the woods' stories I'll stick with Stan Gordon and Lyle Blackburn. They are both very entertaining, present very High Weird topics and to my knowledge have no fraud convictions they had to resign their career over.
