Censored! Students at Washington & Lee University in Virginia are BANNED from passing out flyers for Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin

Republican students at Washington & Lee University in Virginia are fighting back after they were banned from displaying campaign material in support of gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin. The club was told by Director of Student Activities Kelsey Goodwin that their display violated university policy and to remove all endorsement material. Goodwin said because the university is a tax-exempt organization, the school could not endorse political figures.

They need to be sued. Student political endorsement ≠ the school's political endorsement
Despite being named after US Presidents they seem to have forgotten about the First Amendment.

Biden builds taxpayer funded $500k wall around his Delaware beach home but still refuses to finish Trump's wall as illegal migration reaches record level

Joe Biden's summer home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, is getting a $500,000 upgrade with a new security fence. The president has only been to the property twice since moving to the White House - once in June, and once in September. The cost of the fence will raise eyebrows given that the president has free access to a country retreat, Camp David. But supporters of the Bidens will point out that the cost is a drop in the ocean compared to the millions spend on protecting the Trumps at Mar-a-Lago and Bedminster.

Biden town hall prompts mockery, 'Beavis and Butthead' comparisons

Biden town hall prompts mockery, ‘Beavis and Butthead’ comparisons
By Callie Patteson October 22, 2021

President Biden is being dragged on social media after a moment in his CNN town hall performance that has users comparing him to the cartoon “Beavis and Butthead.”

While listening to a question from CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Biden stood on the stage with his arms bent in front of him and fists closed. Dozens of netizens took to Twitter sharing an image of Biden in the position along with a picture of Beavis, who is known for the trademark jittery pose.

“Biden is straight comedy! Uhhhh Beavis……” former Australian NBA player Andrew Bogut tweeted with a laughing face emoji.

Social media personality and commentator Mike Cernovich tweeted a video of Biden with his arms bent and asked, “What is Biden doing?”

Dozens of Twitter users flooded Cernovich’s replies, making the comparison between the president and the cartoon character.

“That or he’s about to transform into cornholio,” one user wrote, referencing Beavis’ hyperactive alter ego that usually makes the gesture.

Others simply tweeted a doctored image of Biden from Thursday with Beavis’ head digitally placed over his.

“Who did it better?” another user asked, with side-by-side photos.

Another user who shared Cernovich’s video took the comparison a step further, saying, “I’m not much of a conspiracy theorist… but has anyone ever seen Biden and Beavis in the same room? Checkmate, sheeple…”

“Beavis impression on point,” another tweeted.

One Twitter user called for a live-action film or show of “Beavis and Butthead” featuring Biden and former President Donald Trump.

“Let’s get Biden and Trump to do a live action Beavis and Butthead to heal the nation,” they wrote.

Caravan of 3,000 migrants including some carrying 'Biden for all' banners push past outnumbered Mexican police as they storm towards the US border

A caravan with thousands of migrants is making its way from Tapachula, Mexico, to the US border, and Mexican officers struggled and ultimately failed to stop them on Saturday. Around 3,000 migrants trying to pass north through Mexico said they hoped to eventually reach the US border, where the number of migrants trying to gain entry was already hitting new records. Families from Haiti, South America, and Central America pushed past and tossed apart police with anti-riot gear and shields who had been moved in anticipation to break up the hordes of people. 'We are going to resist. We are going to resist peacefully. We are not going for confrontation, we are going in the name of God and peacefully. What we want is to receive attention regarding the administrative immigration paperwork according to law,' said one of the caravan leaders.

'Mother of all caravans': 1,000 state troopers and Texas Rangers deploy to the border as 3,000 migrants prepare to arrive in days

A unit of 1,000 state police officers and Texas Rangers assigned to monitor areas along the Lone Star State's 1,241 miles of border with Mexico is readying to guard against the next surge of migrants looking to defy President Joe Biden's administration. As part of Operation Lone Star, the Texas Department of Public Safety has 1,000 state police officers and Texas Rangers assigned to monitor some areas within the 1,241 miles of border it shares with Mexico. According to BorderReport.com, organizers had initially said that the group, called 'Madre Caravana' or 'Mother Caravan,' would be formed by tens of thousands of migrants. Now, about 3,000 migrants, including 250 children, are traveling through Southern Mexico toward the U.S.

We have had southern border issues for many years, this year being the worse in escalation obviously, and all because the border has been politicized, heavily...I think our current President is failing this country in many ways and failing in his sworn duties, the people and the country are suffering because of it and that's not comparing him to any other president but just on his own merits or lack thereof...Having that viewpoint doesn't equate me as rightwing either...That is a mindfuck both parties try to play, if you speak against them or their President elect then you must be of the opposing party, that is the play the extremists of either party use, the media uses it all the time...Its narrow minded thinking as there are a large population of independents in the country including myself and many of them speak out when things aren't going right, no matter what party has the majority or as President...Are we going to see Covid stretched out for years to come because of this pandemic becoming heavily politicized just like the border?...

I have friends in the DFW area. A bit north of the border but a helluva lot closer than I am. They've been endlessly bitching about the ' those damned Republicans' in regard to covid, and stuff and things. With the power grid, they're probably right. Well, OK. That's fine. Stupid has no party affiliation.

But I hadn't noticed the whole state had dropped dead from it. Nope. Haven't heard too much at all. If they all did then good thing, it's filling back up with new people. Probably those damned Republicans again. What pests. Should get a spray or something - probably have to hire and illegal to dispense it though. Good thing all those people flooding the border are all immunized like kids and everyone else.

    Oh, wait a minute. Dang................

US revokes licence of top Chinese telecoms company

US revokes licence of top Chinese telecoms companyPublished 19 hours ago

Image caption,Federal Communication Commission, led by Jessica Rosenworcel, has taken action against several Chinese telecoms firms

Washington has revoked the US licence of one of China's biggest telecoms companies citing "national security" concerns.

China Telecom must stop providing services in America within 60 days.

Officials said the Chinese government's control of the company gave it the opportunity "to access, store, disrupt, and/or misroute US communications".

This in turn could allow it "to engage in espionage and other harmful activities against the US", they said.

China Telecom, which has provided telecoms services in the US for nearly 20 years, called the decision "disappointing".

"We plan to pursue all available options while continuing to serve our customers," a statement said.

China Telecom is one of three companies that dominate China's telecoms market. The firm has hundreds of millions of customers in 110 countries, with services ranging from broadband internet to mobile and landline telephone networks.

The decision comes hours after US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen spoke to China's Vice Premier Liu He about the state of the global economy.

The meeting had been seen as a sign of improving relations between the two superpowers, which have recently exchanged barbs over trade and Taiwan.

The Federal Communication Commission (FCC) warned it might shut down China Telecom Americas in April 2020, claiming the firm "is subject to exploitation, influence, and control by the Chinese government".

It said the company was "highly likely to be forced to comply with Chinese government requests without... independent judicial oversight".

It is the latest Chinese telecoms firm to be targeted by US officials over national security concerns.

Last year, the FCC designated Huawei and ZTE as threats to communications networks - making it harder for US firms to buy equipment from them.

The FCC revoked China Mobile's US licence in 2019, and is in process of doing so for two other state-backed firms - China Unicom Americas and Pacific Networks.

In all cases, US officials cited risks that the Chinese government could use the companies to spy on America or harm national interests.

Junked food! Toxic compounds used to make industrial tubing and rubber gloves are found in 80% of McDonald's, Burger King and Pizza Hut food: Dangerous chemicals are linked to asthma, infertility and smaller testicles, study finds

It's not just the cholesterol, calories and carbohydrates in fast food that people have to worry about: burgers, pizza and burritos are crawling with toxic 'forever chemicals,' according to a new study. Researchers at George Washington University ordered dozens of items from McDonald's, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Domino's, Taco Bell and Chipotle.

According to their analysis, they found phthalates, which are used to make plastic pliable, in over 80 percent of the samples. In addition, they have been linked to numerous health problems, including cancer, liver damage, infertility, thyroid disease, asthma and even smaller testicles, as well as learning disabilities, behavioral issues and attention-deficit disorders in children. In addition, they have been linked to numerous health problems, including cancer, liver damage, infertility, thyroid disease, asthma and even smaller testicles, as well as learning disabilities, behavioral issues and attention-deficit disorders in children.

The researchers chose the restaurants and menu items — hamburgers, fries, chicken nuggets, chicken burritos and cheese pizza — based on market share and best-selling items. Items made with meat had higher levels of phthalates, while French fries and cheese pizza had the lowest, according to their findings, published in the Journal of Exposure Science and Environmental Epidemiology.

Of the food they ordered, 81 percent contained a phthalate called DnBP, which has been linked to a heightened risk for asthma, and 70 percent contained DEHP, which has been tied to reduced fertility and other reproductive issues.
