The end of an era! Apple discontinues the iPod after 20 years - but insists its 'spirit lives on' in other devices

The Cupertino tech giant has announced it's discontinued the iPod, more than 20 years after the very first one was released, back in October 2001. A spokesperson for the tech giant said the iPod redefined how music is discovered and listened to, and that its spirit lives on. Pictured are various iPod models - the original released in 2001 (left), the iPod Mini range (2004, top right) and the seventh generation iPod Touch (2019, bottom right), the final iPod model ever to be released.

I'm a relic iPod user. I looked into buying another one, but they are either sold out or at jacked up prices, or refurbished (which I'm not comfortable with). Unfortunately, I'm pretty invested into Apple in this area, so I'll probably wind up buying an iPhone down the line.

I have three first or second generation iPods, once belonged to a friend many years ago...They need to be serviced, I think there's some issues with them, could be a battery thing, not sure...

Biden FINALLY acts: First baby formula mercy flight is loaded with 31 tons in Germany - as infants are admitted to hospital in US due to shortages and pediatrician says 'crisis' is worsening

Efforts to alleviate baby formula shortages saw 31 tons of baby food loaded onto a military aircraft on Saturday that's now headed for Indiana. President Biden's Operation Fly Formula will see 132 pallets of the Nestle-manufactured powder arrive in the US later on Saturday.

It comes as multiple infants were admitted to hospitals across the US after suffering allergic reactions to homemade formula, with one pediatrician warning the crisis will only worsen. The White House says 132 pallets of Nestlé Health Science Alfamino Infant and Alfamino Junior formula will leave Ramstein Air Base in Germany and arrive in the U.S. this weekend. Another 114 pallets of Gerber Good Start Extensive HA formula are expected to arrive in the coming days. 'These formulas have been prioritized because they serve a critical medical purpose and are in short supply in the United States because of the Abbott Sturgis plant closure,' a White House official said.

Altogether about 1.5 million 8-ounce bottles of the three formulas, which are hypoallergenic for children with cow's milk protein allergy, will arrive this week. While Biden initially requested that the Pentagon use commercially chartered aircraft to move the formula from Europe to the U.S., the White House said no commercial flights were available this weekend.

Trump reacts to testimony that Clinton spread Russia allegations

Former President Donald Trump reacted to the bombshell testimony out of the trial of Michael Sussmann that Hillary Clinton herself approved the dissemination of false information alleging a covert communications channel between the Trump Organization and a Russian bank to the media.

Trump told Fox News Digital that the entire Russia investigation is "one of the greatest political scandals in history," and that he will "never" get his "reputation fully back."

Former Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook on Friday testified as part of the first criminal trial out of Special Counsel John Durham’s years-long investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe, saying Clinton approved and "agreed" to share the discredited data with the media.

Former FBI General Counsel James Baker testified Thursday that the bureau investigated the data alleging a Trump connection to the Kremlin-linked bank, and found that "there was nothing there."

Its pathetic that the richest country in the world has to reply on other countries for these type of basic necessities...
