I've not heard of it, no. Although, you are quoting a British source.
True, although Dailymail can sometimes be a bit tabloidish in some of their reporting lol...I thought maybe more local sources of news, perhaps in the same town these seeds were delivered would give more details...
Apparently this has been going on for a few years.

It seems that the wearers are trying to make some sort of political statement about Joe Biden by calling him a Nazi.
Perhaps but the swastikas are a universal symbol of hate and murder.
and joe Biden is far from a nazi
I remember the British comic Rik Mayall got in trouble in 2002 for dressing up as Hitler and shouting Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein euro in a political broadcast featuring other celebrities against Britain joining the European Union's single currency scheme. It was a bit over-the-top, and it is of course always unkind to compare your opponents to Nazis--unless they are actual Nazis. Nobody, not even Mayall, thought that the EU were actually Nazis, and nobody thought that Mayall was either.
Herman Cain Dies a Month After Contracting COVID-19: 'We're Heartbroken'
A personal hero to Brian my daughter's BF. Brian wrote this on his FB, "He showed me that a man of color could rise to become great. That I can aspire to be more! that I can do better than my father and my grandfather! "
As for me as MLK said " I dream of a day when we judge a man not by the color of his skin but the content of his character "
Caine was of the highest character and he will be missed.
Barack Obama's Kenyan half-brother Malik rips his sibling as 'cold and ruthless' as he release new memoir detailing the family rift
Malik, 62, spoke to the New York Post via Skype from his home in the Kenyan village of Nyang'oma Kogelo for an interview published on Saturday to promote his new book, Big Bad Brother From Kenya. 'He got rich and became a snob,' Malik said. 'What I saw was he was the kind of person that wants people to worship him. He needs to be worshiped and I don't do that. I am his older brother so I don't do that.' Unsurprisingly, Malik is supporting President Donald Trump re-election in November, after gaining fame in 2016 for siding with Trump against Hillary Clinton.

Wilford Brimley, 'Cocoon' actor and Quaker Oats pitchman, dies at 85 - CNN
That was a huge explosion, I've watched it from different angles and sources, here's before and after satellite images...
This was the size of a small atomic bomb explosion.
it's like a small nuke going off..
Indeed, the devastation left behind reveals the power of that explosion, incredible to say the least...Fortunately it occurred in a less populated area, the casualties could have been much worse...Here's a couple photos I've only seen recently...
That appears to be a grain elevator near to the site of the explosion. The exterior silo walls have collapsed, spilling grain out onto the dock, which is that mountain of what looks like dirt.
Beirut blast: Tracing the explosives that tore the capital apart
The ammonium nitrate had been in the Port of Beirut since 2013, when the owner of the MV Rhosus, Cyprus-based Russian businessman Igor Grechushkin, went bankrupt leaving the ship stranded with its dangerous cargo, that had been bound for Mozambique.
It was brought onto the dock in 2014, and kept in the warehouse where it exploded ever since. The Lebanese director of customs had been pleading with members of the judiciary to get permission to remove the fertilizer for years, because they knew how dangerous it was.
A forseeable and preventable disaster.
