Obituaries

Chris O'Brian, noted cattle mutilation and UFO investigator has passed on. I learned early this morning (11-25-24) that he was involved in a traffic accident while driving himself to a hospital while having breathing problems. If I receive any additional information I will post it here. Chris, RIP. I spoke with him many times.
No matter how you felt about him it is a deep loss.
 
Oh man, Chris O'Brien was one of my favorites. Regardless of whether or not you agreed with his conclusions, his research was top notch. Like Stanton Friedman!
 
I just learned of Chris's passing. He was not much older than I am. I never met him, but his work has had a lot to do with my butt being parked where it is at the moment. I'm in the middle of what was his stomping ground in the 90s. I figured I'd bump into him around here, but it never happened. I don't think he spent a lot of time here recently, but I'm not sure. I did see him speak at a small gathering in Crestone, back at the end of the 90s. I was very happy to see him turn up on the Paracast and the associated forum, thought that might not have been his best career move ever. No matter what the venue, his perspective was unique and he was not shy about sharing it.
