Last night Harvey our rex rabbit departed this life held by Samantha who gently and Loving held him as he left us. Harvey gave our family love and taught Samantha responsibility. Harvey we will miss you.

Last night we think Harvey had a stroke. Bob and I knew he would never reach the vet. We gave him to Samantha who held him she begged him to stay with us I knelt "Samantha it's his time you have to let him go. " And we both knew he had left us. Harvey was a member of our family. Samantha took his passing hard. A miracle of the goddess is one so so small so gentle brought us so much joy.. we all hurt today. Harvey your karma is complete for this cycle. Rest now and take out love to your next.
Blessed be
Rikki

If our pets lived as long as we do we would look at them differently. Note: avoid those big parrots or you'll have to write it into your will.

he would never reach the vet

Heartbreaking. My brother literally just went through this with sweet old Boscoe. He got sick at home very suddenly and he needed help from his daughter to get him to the emergency clinic because he was north of 120 lbs. Poor boy expired in the lobby the moment they arrived. No idea what got him, they said maybe a stroke. He was 12. The highest compliment I can pay is to say he was a good dog, a very good dog. My brother is heartbroken.

Knocked together yet another pet step for Pie girl to get on and off the couch, she's getting a bit creaky. All scrap stuff, no need to go buy anything.

Basement stinks to high hell from spray glue, I think I'm half stoned from it. Too cold to do it outside. At least some of the ammo stockpile is making itself useful for a change.

Its Aven's birthday today, he's one year old, born the 25th of November last year (about 10 years old in dog years)...We took him to the vet yesterday to get his nails trimmed, we got him weighed too and he weighs in at 112 lbs and still growing!...

I was quietly watching TV last night about midnight and Louie was being a cat playing floor hockey with something. After a bit I realized it was an actual turd, a dried up little Lincoln Log looking thing.

I have him pegged as the serial slipper barfer too. Because cats, that's why.

My shadow has spots ..............

My orange tabbie not liken all this20260124_075948.jpg cold and snow. He went out in it his 1st snow i think, for 30 min at least, but after that only 5min. We have a little over a foot and half snow with 7f temps in shawnee oklahoma.

My dog and two cats stay in the garage in the winter, temperature ranges from 40-50 F usually. The 250 watt heat lamp is always on and there is a kerosene heater for when it gets really cold.

Pie's got the screamers. My wife took the first shift up to midnight and I've been up several times since. I just gave up on trying to sleep. Poor thing, it's 3 degrees out there and the snow is up to the top of her back. She uses the trails I made but isn't any happier about all that than I am.
