I've been there a few times, worth going at least once. It's different when you can actually see the whole thing for yourself.

Pickett's charge, the copse of trees and Little Round Top get all the attention. What went on in the cemetery and Culp's hill though, eeeeee. Nasty business because the scale changes due to the geography.

There are movies that you see that impact you so greatly .so profoundly that it stays with you.
Downfall is such a movie. Hitler is portrayed in this movie has a man consumed by his mania. Midway through the movie Hitler realizes the war's lost and that his generals simply cannot stem the tide and stop the inevitable.. is a powerful scene Hitler rages against its generals yet his generals standing firm to his face. There are other scenes as well again boy walking out with a tank buster to destroy a Soviet tank and losing his courage and simply goes home. Then there are those who are loyal to Hitler those who murder their own children the wives and then themselves. It's a sad movie but I felt no sadness or sympathy for Hitler or for the men who took their own lives As an act of loyalty to him. but I did feel sorrow for the German people who had to endure such hardships for this one man and his mad dream. This is not an easy movie to watch. But some of the best movies are just like this. And so I recommend it I urge everyone to watch this movie. just prepare beforehand for the emotional roller coaster that this movie puts you on

I watched this earlier this year. I was very impressed with it. It is one of the few foreign language films I was able to get through.

As Above So Below
The Green Knight is a well made movie with a lot of metaphor and symbolism that I very much enjoyed. There were a lot of things you could take away from this story, even if you don't understand everything but this film is not for everyone. I thought it was going to be an action packed fantasy movie, but nope, its kind of a modern take on a Arthurian world. It requires some piecing of the movie together after viewing and even though it is extremely odd, I can't help but talk about the movie and try to figure out some plot points. I love when a movie doesn't give you everything.

The Green Knight is a very good movie, its mentally engaging and really held my attention well and elegant in its simplicity...There's a balance of spoken word and the actions and expressions of the characters that do the storytelling...I was relaxed and drinking a glass of wine when I began watching it, so my cup was half full (so to speak) when I went in...

The Green Knight

Who was the fox?...I think it was trying to help him most of the time...

I think he lost his soul in that encounter with the three people before engaging the Green Knight creature, the first three people robbed him materially and the second group of three robbed him spiritually and the fox gave him one last warning...I think in his final moments in that vision he realized everything he had done and that he was a shell of the man he once was...

They don't tell you all this but in the actions and expressions it came to me this way on my first viewing...

Don't Breathe 2

It was a difficult movie to like, but in the end I did. The little girl was brilliant and seemed to be very comfortable in front of the camera. The story was not what I expected because I had already labeled the lead character as the bad guy so, for me, it was very much a case of choosing the lesser of two evils.

I would recommend it. Especially if you already watched the first one.

Snake Eyes: GI Joe Origins

I loved the GI Joe movies. Especially the one with Dwayne Johnson and that is all I know of the GI Joe franchise so I was glad to watch this movie and get to know who Snake Eyes was and what he brought to the franchise. It was an action packed movie and I loved the idea of being able to trust the clan as though they were family who would always have your back. It never works out that way and if at first you practice to deceive.... It was good for a one time watch. Granny was a big surprise for me. lol

Free Guy

It was a fun watch. I get tired of Ryan Reynolds. He is always the same character...himself. He does remind me of Robin Williams at times because Robin was always "on" Ryan is that same way. The difference being Robin Williams was a great actor and could blow you away with some of his performances. Who knows, maybe Ryan will surprise us some day.

It's definitely worth the watch.

Sweet Girl

I thought I knew where the movie was going way ahead of time, I was wrong. That's what saved the film from being just another generic action movie. The acting was well done and it kept my attention throughout. I say if you like Jason Momoa and Isabella Merced, show them some love and give it a watch. I liked it.

Stillwater

To be honest, I would watch anything that Matt Damon was in. That being said, I can also say that I have never seen a movie where he badly portrayed the character he's playing. He totally submerses himself in whatever role he takes on and is excellent at it. I have 2 brothers that were in construction and worked the rigs here in Alberta. Matt was dead on in his portrayal.

Abigail Breslin has always been a brilliant actor and was flawless with her performance. I also remember being mesmerized by her performance in Signs.

Lilou Slauvaud was a breath of fresh air and I fell in love with her character almost instantly. I hope we see more of her in the future.

Yes, the movie is quiet and slow paced, but it was so great at character study and man, the scenery was breathtaking. Lots of emotions in this one and I found myself tearing up a few times.

It was worth the watch as far as I am concerned.

Candyman is not a bad movie. That being said it's not a good movie as well.
Its a by the numbers killer movie.
The big trope of horror movies is present. The trope of being told not to do something but doing it anyway with deadly results.
And it's not for kids!

I know it was mentioned here but we watched Tomorrow War despite the warnings and it really is an incomprehensible mess.
