I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that we have a secret space based weapon system that can detonate warheads the very second they are launched. They would never leave the ground....and...BOOOM!!!

I think that if it came down to "show and tell" and it involved secret weapons and black budget weapons the rest of the world would be terrified of what the US actually has for weapons.
Lets just hope a war that would be the cause of their use, never happens.

Well, yeah, but his is bigger.
The only people who claim "size doesn't matter" are people with small ones.
Further, Russian warheads are 750 kT vs the US 450 kT, so their warheads are bigger too.
Don't know what kind of idiots negotiate these arms treaties (and they are idiots) because they always let the other guy keep more weapons.
We should quit negotiating these sorts of treaties since we always get suckered.
As a side note: our warheads are about 50% larger than they should be, because an accident at a production facility stopped us from deploying our advanced warhead.
The only people who deploy it are the Chinese.

As a side note, the NK situation means Texas will be around long after California.

The problem with humanity is that constant need to have the biggest, best, more, it all or become the top dog. Seems the human need for conflict with other humans wins out over all else. "Everybody wants to rule the world."
Sorry I do not and a whole bunch of others do not as well.
Think of what good could have been achieved in this world had there not been the divisions and conflicts and we had worked together.
If I had an opportunity for my family and I to slip through into a more peaceful world...I would be gone tomorrow.
