We just watched Breakaway and my wife loved it. Episode 2 Force of Life not so much but we'll still give it a few more episodes.

Cool idea but even as a kid I saw that the idea was a bit silly. Warm habitable planets don't just float around the cosmos and if the Moon was going fast enough to encounter other star systems it seems it would be going too fast to launch Eagles to investigate and still be able to recover them. Even Star Trek TOS had those bases covered. But what the hell, it looks really cool with those comlinks, lasers, big hairy sideburns, bell bottoms and platform shoes. Oh, and really big zippers.

We tried another Gerry and Sylvia Anderson offering last night: UFO. Eeeeeee.... what I remember being really cool as a kid doesn't hold up, it's bad.

Huh, just found this in a drawer. I vaguely remember having a squirt gun like the lasers. Cool looking show, interesting idea bit its bad.... quite bad. As a kid I never noticed.

Yeah, I remember watching this show when I was young, it was on the air for 2 years then canceled...I liked the series back then, I dont remember much of the details now lol...
